Interesting.  I'm not finding any reports on this anywhere else.

The reason you won't is because this did not happen today.  There are old protest pictures from last year, who wears a winter coat when it is 83 and raining in Chicago

PA this was from the chicago "tea party" in april, check out the pics  from chicago tribune news itself
http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/chi-090415-tea-party-taxes-pg,0,3153993.photogallery.
I know its windy in chicago, but shurely people must be out and about in their summer clothes now??? not scarves and heavy coats.
Oh and the lil kid in the yellow is the same one from the CNN vieo back in april too.
so it was covered in mainstream media, at least the chicago tribune and CNN.....

That is what I was checking out... and looking for any way to see when it happened.  Even checked the site that is named on some of the pictures and it looks like they may have been taken from something else in Feb. or April.

I saw a handful of people standing on a corner in my little 'burb this afternoon. There were holding signs about ending the war, but nothing about taxes.

Go figure...

FR, after read thru

Also, that's not much of a crowd, especially for a city as big as Chicago. There's some tricks that go into how protests are covered: lots of close-up shots of the crowd & no pic from up high to show the 'big crowd' are a 'red flag' for me that the crowd was kinda puny in size, relatively speaking . . . . . Especially in a place with oodles of high-rises all around to get that high-altitude pic to show the many who showed up . ....

Carefully examining the background reveals that many of the pics show widely dispersed protesters . . . . . When there are big crowds they get packed into the limited area . . . . .

Don't get me wrong, either, I'm a big fan of protest & people takin' it to the streets, but it's a very manipulable game . . . . .

Jus' sayin' . . . . . .

Give me a break the man hasn't even been in office 6 months, and he's the one to blame for the fricken debt? [sm=gaah.gif]

It's 83 & very humid in Chicago today. If these people were wearing heavy coats, they would probably would melt.
