I haven't seen this brought up for discussion in awhile, so I thought I would ask for current members' opinions (I'll reserve mine, although it is certainly no secret) When you play with someone for the first time, who brings the toys? (the vagueness of the question is intentional)

he has to bring his insertables if that is the course of things, My insertables remain Mine and never cross the line. Other toys are Mine as I know them: weight, stroke, pressure, etc.

Greetings I would say that the one intimate toys like didoes and the like is supposed to be used on bring such toys as they should not be used on others. Whips and other goodies I think it would be natural that the one that have the best collection brings. I Wish you all well

For me, I've always supplied my insertables and 'buzzy' things lol. But whips, rope etc have always belonged to my previous Masters. I wouldn't like to own those things. I like the fact that they are 'his'.

Toys that go inside me or cause something to come out of me directly onto the toy I will supply (vibrators, dildos, etc as well as things like pinwheels). Other items, well we can both add to the variety and fun. lovingpet

In my prior relationship all the toys were his that he purchased for me. I kept them in the trunk of my car until they were stolen. Now I have my own toys, every thing I love! No dumb things I never got into, no things that just don't work for me.. all grrrrrrrrrrrreat! lol so I would bring it if I really want to play. However, so far the really wanting to play has not come up so we use my current partners stash, insertibles are not an option at this point but if they were I would bring them. Kyst

i have my own toy bag [:)] and if i run out of lube or supplies then it is i who buys the replacements [:)] if my mistress sees a toy she wants to use on me i am told about it then expected to order it so she can use it on me next time we get together [:)] mal

It would be My opinion that, for safety and health reasons, there are certain toys that should be owned by the submissive and used only on that submissive. That would include anything inserted such as plugs, vibrators, etc. Add to that blindfolds and gags. Yes, all of these are easy to clean, but if they aren't yours, you really don't know who and how well they were cleaned last, do you? Any type of toys that are involved in blood play should be single person and/or single use. I'm not saying replace your wheel every scene, but things like needles and staples aren't that expensive. It's better to toss them into the sharps container rather than risk an infection. Since those are disposable items, it's nice when a bottom brings their own, so I'm not constantly using up My supply.

If i would ever be allowed to be used by another then they would have to use only our own stuff on me... i don't even entertain the idea of a whip or flogger that has been on another on me... blood sweat and tears I understand Dominants might have their favorite hitting implement... it would have to be brand new

MY toy box has toys for each boy that are thiers. They have their own too. I have my own things and if there is fluid involved..then that toy is for ONE.. A new playmate or for a first time.. .I have often said to bring your own toys This is often a good indicator of a DO ME or not..as well.. Do they have any toys???or want it all set up by me? It shows some idea that they are in the life or know what they like. play safe GQ

I own a couple small things, and I don't buy leather. I have the hands of a masseur and the brains of a whackjob. If a sub wants more, she can bring her own stuff. Actually, if a sub wants more, she can let me look through the drawers of her kitchen.[;)]

I am not really picky, I have certain toys I will always want to bring, but I will be up to seeing his collection too.

He brought new rope, I brought the insertables. But since I don't play casually, it doesn't come up. If I was a casual player, then I would accumulate my own toys because I don't like the idea of someone else's bodily fluids being transmitted to me. And you can't sterilize a crop.

i have my own insertables and some other things. Master may purchase items to be used on his slave but then slave gets to keep them because the only person they will be used on is slave. floggers, pads, belts are all Master and may be used on others, these items if taken care of can be used with out risk.

The first time I've ever played with someone was usually without a single toy or device or even a rope. After that, since I don't play or fuck casually, everything basically gets combined..his and mine which basically become all his.

when Master and I met for the first time, we both brought our toys. I brought all that I had, rope, red duct tape, hitachi, dildo, blindfold. He brought all that he had, slave bell, wrist and ankle cuffs that clip together, leather collar, and two floggers and a paddle (one side is rough, one has rabbit fur) We used what we could, the slave bell I couldn't wear even though I wanted to cause the cuff it's on doesn't fit around my ankle yet. and we didn't have time for the rope and duct tape. but we used everything else.

As for insertables, I have my own that are used in only me, no one else. Sir does have a couple insertables that I have washed in 25% bleach water (i think that's a higher % than is required to kill things) to be safe and that are used only on me. As for floggers and cuffs and so on, we both use His, we like that idea.
