STAR TREK/DUNE BDSM?

Status: offline 		Are any of you subbies trekkies as well? and if you are, do any of you SubbieTrekkies incorporate STAR TREK dynamics into your BDSM?

I can't remember all the scenes where there must have been some element of D/s but there were definitely several of them. A favourite of mine is that practiced by the Ferengi where the women are expected to be naked and serve the men at all times. My only issue with that was that they were portrayed as a comical super capitalist race so it was hard to take them seriously.

Another one I liked in particular was in Dune (the recent remake), where I think it might have been the emperor who was playing with his "human pets" in something like a pool and then my memory fails me...but I know I really envied his position. haha

I am a Star Trek fan but I do not know if I would call myself a Trekkie. I however have not found much in Star Trek that would qualify as being made into a BDSM dynamic. You have the Ferengi who own their females and keep them naked and uneducated just for breeding, but I do not really get all that hot about Ferengi. Cool science fiction race, but still. You also have a race with three sexes, where the third sex is treated as property, they show up in an episode of Star Trek Enterprise but I can not remember their name. You have off course Orion slave girls, however they are not slave girls, the women are dominant, but they play submissive to sure strangers. I can not really say that BDSM is what I have been thinking about when I watch Star Trek.

You are thinking about the Baron Harkonen. Yes Dune have a few more oppertunities for BDSM play. I have actually played in a naugthy RPG set in the Dune world, but that was about a Fedakyin capturing a member of the spacing Guild and using her as a slave. I mean if you have a setting you can really make any kind of naugthy story in it with an role playing game.

You need to watch the DS9 episode where they visit the mirror universe. Kira Nerys could top me any day of the week. She is just unbelievably hot in that show.

Status: offline 		I am a big Star Trek fan. I have seen them ALL more than once. I perfer Star Trek TNG to the orginal. I think Will Riker is really handsome espically after he got his beard. I used to call Captian Kirk on the orginal series the "love captain" because he alway got all the girls. He never did all that much for me.

As for using it in BDSM play i don't know about that. Well maybe Master does send me into suspace ;0).

And also happened to be a fan of the Dune books, but I just can't stand the movie for whatever reason.

Anyway, since we are talking about movies, I hadn't watch it in a very long time and was surprised with the bdsm displayed in Mad Max 2 (subtitled the road warrior I believe?).
That wasn't anything shoking, but still, there were some strong images.
