Hello Mistresses, I hope you do not find this question boring and i have tried to "search" for "related" topics but could not find the answer i was looking for ..[8\|] Is there a "correct" way for a sub/slave to "kneel" at your feet ? As i understand it kneeling in front of your Mistress you should look at the floor and have your hand's on your knees with palms facing up !! Any hint's/advice would be welcome though i understand that all Mistresses will have differing views on this .. Many thanks.... dave [:)]

Depends on what the person wants, everyone is different. If you aren't sure, you can do what you feel is best, or ask them first.

Like LA said everyone will have their own preferences. On your knees, head bowed and hands clasped loosely behind their back is generally my position of choice when a boy is before me.

The detail will differ from Dominant to Dominant...but the use of grace will not. Practice different positions and learn to do each as fluidly as you can. Fire

I will also suggest that you practice being STILL, both kneeling and standing. That means, no fidgeting, shifting, bouncing, etc.

You'll learn the proper way to kneel when you have a mistress and it should be her job to teach you or tell you what to do. However that may well change for the next person you kneel to. But there is a good guideline to follow: do not kneel for anyone until they have either given you permission and have earned your kneeling to them.

As said, if the Domme wants you to take a certain position, she'll train you in it. Usually, the people I hear talking about positions are goreans. The best thing to do is simply kneel and note how your Mistress positions you. I teach "waxy flexibility" to My personal slaves, meaning that when I place their hand thus it is to remain there, as if they were a wax figure being sculpted. Once they are in the correct position, they are to remember and re-attain the position on command. These are the positions I train My slaves to assume: The best basic kneel is on the knees, feet pointed backward (extended), back straight, butt up (not sitting back on the calves), head erect, but gaze must neve rise above the level of Mistress' knees, unless it is commanded. Hands may either be loosely crossed at the small of the back (in position for binding) at the sides or held out in front (as if carrying a tray). The Reste Kneel is where the butt is allowed to rest on the backs of the calves. The hands may be placed as comfortable. The response to the command "Reste!" should be "This slave is thankful, Mistress." The Egyptian kneel is done with one knee on the floor (foot back or pointed, toes flexed) and the front leg forward (foot sole-down) so that the person is in a crouch position. One arm is flexed diagonally across the chest with the hand laid flat on the opposite shoulder and the other arm is strethced out in front with the hand level with the floor, palm down. Also, in the Reste version of the kneel the butt is on the lowered leg and the hands rest palms down on the thigh and waist respectively. The Egyptian Kneel is a ceremonial position, adopted at parties or situations where the slave may be expected to rise to serve at any moment. All kneeling positions should be gracefully executed, the body of the slave should be relaxed to a degree, but not so much as to be sloppy in movement, and fidgeting kept to a minimum. If a cramp is felt or the slave needs to re-position, he may request permission to do so with the softly spoken "Maitress, Mais J'adoube?" ( 'Mistress, may I readjust?' ), pronounced "May-TRESS, may zha-DOOB?" The reason I use non English for commands and responses is because it further de-personalises a slave in his own mind. If he is fluent in French, I use German, If he speaks German and French, I use Arabic, et cetera to make the response further "set apart" from thought processes. theres no reason that a newbie cannot desire to learn something that would be more pleasing and make his value more. Ive sent a site for you to go to on the other side that will show you the many slaves positions that can be learned and used in service.

Many thanks.... dave [:)] When I ask a submissive to kneel I observe how they accomplish that act. If I want them to change their pose, I tell them so. If their pose is pleasing, I tell them so. Not all Doms want subs to kneel a certain way. Sometimes my subs squat in place instead of kneeling. Either times I want them on one knee only so I can put my foot on their bent leg so they can tie my shoes. or kiss my feet. or just cause I want them that way. When you talk with a new Dom just simply ask how she would want you to kneel when she commands. Remember: not everything you may read or hear from others online is what the DOM might want. Communciation is important.

Hmm, my Mistress has me kneeling in a normal position, head down, look at the floor, hands usually crossed or folded together.

I agree that a sub should educate and improve himself so he has more to offer his Domme, when he does find her. My advice is to practice 3-4 kneeling positions and when you do encounter your Domme, ask her if she'd like you to kneel. If she says 'yes' then do so. If she doesn't like the way you do it, it is HER job to show you a different way. This educating yourself applies to other things as well, go to the nail salon and watch a pedicure, try to learn to do it. Cook regularly, clean your home thoroughly, learn how to polish boots... basically acquire all the skills you can that make you a more qualified submissive. I would venture to say that this makes your ability to please your Domme (and find her if you're still searching) much greater.
