i am very new here and to the life style in general, i am lucky i suspect as i am already Under Consideration, to a wonderful Mistress.

Now she has told me i must learn more about this life style and about how i will in time fit into it, in my place as Her sub.

The question i would like to ask is simply this, does any one know of any sites that i can read, that are purely information about how things work in general, which in turn, i hope will make me more pleasing to my Mistress and also better informed.

Thank You

kelly

Welcome to the boards Kelly!!

There is no one true way as far as the lifestyle is concerned. It should be discussed between you and your Mistress as to what she expects from you.

Congratulations. Maybe the 2 of you could go to some local munches and get to know others in your community. To me that is the fastest way to learn about the lifestyle. Only she can tell you the particulars of what she wants from a sub, but it can be helpful to get to know others and see how they also live.

Hi kelly and welcome to the boards

Here on Cm the search button will bring you to a lot of topics that you might have questions about. I have found them very useful, especially getting different points of views.

I am a fan of google and would suggest you use that to look for websites on this as well.

Hi kelly.

There isn't a single "right" answer. Personally, I point people towards dekerker (google it) if they want an introduction. There are myriad other intro sites - I just happen to like that one. Wikipedia has a pretty comprehensive set of entries, tho in my view they tend to be a bit mechanistic. Use google, browse, and remember that just because actors x and y are on video completing act z, it's not compulsory - or at least until your mistress takes you and tells you otherwise...

Welcome and enjoy!

Hello Kelly and welcome to the boards. There are actually several decent websites that offer infomation and education on the lifestyle. Also as it was pointed out get out and socialize with others in your community that are in the lifestyle. There are almost always munches and play parties in local communities and most of them offer new people guidance and a good focal point in which to start. Here is one of my favorite websites that has many links to other sites where you can explore....

Ah. Mistress is wonderful and thus does not help you in your learning, and can't point you to the sites and information. If that is wonderful, I would love to find out what lousy is. I would suggest you look for sites that tell you what a Mistress is, and how she is supposed to function. You do not have to do anything for as long as you are "under consideration" anyway, she has not committed to you.

Bullshit Holly.  I am working on a manual right now.  It will be ready for publication no later than 2012.  So everyone just hold your horses right now.

You've the notes from our interview right?

OP

As has been said, there is absolutely NO ultimate "it has to be this way 'or else.'"  Google it, and you'll find tons of information, but in the end, your Mistress is the only one that can ultimately decide how the specifics between the two of you will work, because no Dom/me is the same as every other Dom/me.
