LadiesBladewing -> RE: moral/ethics.. (2/18/2006 10:51:29 AM)

I would consider it, since the moral and ethical code of our household isn't one that most people would come to without being exposed to it -- and it is unlikely that they would be exposed to it in daily life in our current society. To discover whether an individual is a moral/ethical fit with our household actually requires them spending time -in- our household, and if they were dedicated to exploring their own premises, I would accept them even if their current premises didn't match ours. That being said, if I discovered, after taking on a servant, that his or her ethical and moral framework were inimical to our household, I would not -keep- them in service to us, for their own good, as well as ours.
