Status: offline 		I am happy to see that this site is the home for many older dommes. Not that there is anything wrong with the younger Dommes, but many of us love the more mature Dommes, the older the better. I would love to hear any comments.

However; as with anything else of value and wonderment in the world.....experience, maturity and flair.........(oh, hell to degrade it with age comes wisdom) and looking at women of........ oh, I don't know, primary; matriarchal; focused; intent.....whatever you want to call it.....type of outlook......it is something that we all should certainly behold, (I know I have a person here who will correct my poorly and phonetically spelled french) Jenais se Quios (can you fix this?) .

Bottom line, many of the young and staltwart souls here will become glamourous and forces for us ALL to be reckoned with anon......

But there is that certain undefinable something about a woman who knows where she is going and will take you with her, Ja?

Status: offline 		As an older Dome I am pleased this thread is here! I am 53 (54 this June!) and have been playing for 25 years. I would never lie about age or try to be any younger than I am (except in appearance! Grin!) and I am pleased that many sweet slaves and subs recognise that with mileage comes wisdom.

Please don't lump all "younger Dommes" into the same "don't have maturity yet" catagory.

I'm not trying to be negative here, mostly because I, too, appreciate the insights that people with more experience in the lifestyle have ... but to imply that all younger Dommes are immature is a problem for me.

Status: offline 		lucky thinks the nice thing about older dommes (and older subs for that matter) is not so much the greater experience and thus greater realism of approach, not to mention skill, but even more that in general it takes time for people to know who they are and feel certain and comfortable with it. lucky very much prefers a domme who is self-confident in a relaxed this-is-who-I-am way, and thinks dommes also tend to prefer a sub who knows he is submissive at heart and is happy with himself for being so.

I'm 36 but I'm been openly involved in BDSM for 13 years now and for a few years before then under a pseudonym and for at least 4 years before then without knowing what I was doing or interested in was called.


In total I've been interested in Ds for 32 years at least, doing BDSM for 20 years, aware of it for 16 years and open and active publically for going on 14 years now.
