What do you enjoy listening to in your car (if anything) while you are driving? I am a classic rock fan so today I was listening to Foreigner 4 one of the best rock albums of all time.

Oldies, 50's and 60's. On long trips I will sometimes listen to a book on tape.

heh heh one of my fav topics :)

i dont listen to anything in the car.

i have a one man stereo, bi amped, over 3000 watts, set up for perfect listening for only one person tho a lot of people do not know the difference anyway.

i love nothing more to crank any relatively good live recording, like bs the last supper, acdc, aerosmith, boc, dp, nikel back, and if i want the house to heave harold faltermeyer!

There is nothing nicer than a concert in th ehome but the only problem is you only have maybe 2 hours that you can listen to it like a concert before your ears start to ring.

i have zillions of tunes, but definitely live, and definitely loud, and definitely metal!

I abhor the radio usually, although I have been listening lately to get ideas for my band to cover.

Given the choice on a long trip...

Genesis (Old or New)
Pink Floyd
Supertramp
Brand-X
Stanley Clarke
Laurie Anderson
And most any classical music

Manilow (don't kill Me!), Gloria Estefan, Garth Brooks...
But today "Grease". I have a lot of live theater sound tracks, (Phantom, Les Mis, Cabaret, 42nd Street, Gypsy, et al) probably because I am a live theater junkie. If a Cd isn't playing, I am listening to talk radio.

Hmm... I guess I'm gonna give away my age here...

Classic Rock/Pop all the way... Beatles, Stones, Doors, Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd, Mama's and Papa's, Simon & Garfunkel, etc.

Geez... I think the most modern music I own is Fleetwood Mac!

Genesis is a fine band. My favorite album of theirs is the self entitled one.

I've been sort of 'stuck' on the soundtracks to Rent lately (in the truck). I've got the original theatrical soundtrack and the soundtrack to the movie. I listen to the theatrical soundtrack most often (lately).

In my cd player at home at the moment is:

Clapton - Pilgrim
Boz Scaggs - Hits
Evanescence - Fallen
A Sony Jazziz Sampler (Thom Rotella, Michel Camilo, Mark Whitfield, David Benoit, Shakatak, Don Cherry, etc)
Soundtrack to the movie "The Big Chill'
Everlast - Whitey Ford Sings the Blues

I usually do a good bit of head banging, though. I'm not sure why I haven't been lately. Perhaps it's related to my stress levels at work.

Hey now! In my laptop at work I've got one of the two discs to the recently remastered Fleetwood Mac 1968-69 Blues Jam in Chicago Sessions. Dont get me wrong, FM with Lyndsie Buckingham holds its place in my heart, but there's nothing like the pre-buckingham/nicks Fleetwood Mac fronted by Peter Green.

Now THATS blues!

I've not got a multidisk changer, but the soundtrack to Jay and Silent Bob gives me good variety and a smile too.

The radio stations in my are, pretty much in order of use by me:
1. the alternative station (new and old.. lots of new though)
2. the variety station (hits of the 80's, 90's, and today)
3. top hits (my daughter's fav)
4. a public station that plays a fair amount of the blues (my son's fav)..
5. classical station
