The funniest part (or saddest, depending on how you look at it) is he is being serious.

Rush's comments on Obama throwing out the first pitch at the All-Star game:

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT


RUSH:  I want to get this on and off the table quickly as possible.  We gotta deal with it 'cause it's its own form of controversy.  Obama's pitch did not make it all the way to the plate.  It did not make it all the way to the plate.  It probably was short-hopped by the first baseman, very unusual, I'll explain why, the first baseman, Albert Pujols was catching Obama's first pitch.  The guy throws like a girl.  I'm sorry.  He throws like a girl, he had a girlie toss.  They didn't show you the whole arc.  You have to go to the MLB.com website to see the whole thing from the center field camera because Fox only showed Obama from the mound and they didn't show Pujols catching the ball so you have to rely on other people and what they've heard. (interruption) I just said the president throws like a girl.  He golfs like a girl, admittedly.  He throws like a girl.  

George W. Bush is a man.  George W. Bush fired a strike first pitch, Yankee Stadium after 9/11.

Yeah I love that none of us are addressing what is wrong in the nation and how to fix it but rather who is responsible for it so that they can say feel better about thier own political philosophy.

Status: offline 		Is "throws like a girl" supposed to be funny or a way to say that "girls" cannot throw a ball? Wow if so someone better tell Michele Smith, because I think she really knows how to pitch a ball and she happens to be (gasp) a girl. Below are just a few of her accomplishments.

Status: offline 		Yes, I continue to wonder why people can't see that Limbaugh and others like him are simply entertainers on a stage show.

Limbaugh gives those on the right side of the left vs right paradigm, "points for their team." It's nothing more than vain entertainment that appeals to base emotions.

It pays to keep the masses perpetually fighting each other, deflecting their focus away from the reality of the status quo. The greater the emotions, the lesser the logic.

It's time to realize that we're better than this, reject this nonsense, and start thinking.

I've honestly stopped trying to figure out the criteria used here anymore.

We have a new Politics and Religion section with some threads there that have nothing to do with politics or religion.

Meanwhile we have clearly political threads being posted in Off Topic.

I guess this didn't meet the seriousness quota for either.

No... it certainly doesn't make any sense, does it?

Of course, now that it's on Random Stupidity instead of Politics and Religion, it's less likely that the topic will be treated seriously.

Maybe the mod is a Rush fan?
