My favourite is the guys with sunglasses trying to look all tough and mysterious, or standing with arms crossed trying to make their arms look more muscular while sucking in their guts.

I personally don't reply to every message that I get. For all the reasons stated. Many times I really don't feel comfortable with the person emailing me. And when I do reply with a thanks but no thanks, about half the time the man will start arguing with me. That's not an exaggeration. I really don't need to expose myself to that. Nor am I obligated to. Quite frankly, almost every time that I don't reply to someone, it has been more than apparent that they haven't read my profile. If they won't read or understand that, then I have no reason to think that they'll read anything else that I say. Anytime someone mentions how horrible it is for someone to not reply, I wonder... are you sitting around pining after someone who has never spoken with you?

Point 5 is interesting. People who require gifts before contact, or immediately after, are apparently financial dominants. It's a tricky area. I can see how it can be a valid kink, but it is also a highly abused kink. It's definitely not everyone's kink.

I have absolutely no argument with the OP's other points though. Of course, they apply across the board, regardless of gender, and to an extent, regardless of orientation (top/bottom/insert-applicable-label). ;)

Honestly I try by best to be polite and curteous but after recieveing several vile messages back I decided sod it.

And what suprised me the most once was a particually sick nasty 5 paragraph message, from a man who had sent me the most lovely message that appeared thought out and contained specifics from my profile. I had said thank you for the message, and explained that him living in another country and not being female, I wasn't interested in any online D/s stuff that he was enquiring about and good luck in his search.

Now I don't reply to any messages from men unless it makes me laugh. I don't answer them because I don't have to and I am not being rude by doing that. I do clearly state that I don't want to take on men and they message me any way I think thats rude !!

I am so sick of the double standards between female dominants and male dominants. This is a freesite full of the foolish and the gholish. Just like I get plenty of so called subs/slaves demanding my time who are not serious- I am sure there are a-holes of dominant females and males who do the same. 1) Females don't respond because if we say thanks but no thanks we get called: bitch, cunt, too fat to fuck and the occasional threat of death and/or dismemberment. We don't get those charming responses if we just don't answer.

2) What you call a bitch some other guy thinks is his vision of take charge womanhood. You don't like her, you aren't compatible so move on.

3) The NO MEN is because men still write so she hopes if it's all in caps. all over the page they might actually notice it and realize she is only seeking a relationship with women.

The only thing that ever bugs me is when I get a personal message out of nowhere from someone who is a professional who happens to be trying to drum up business. Recently, I've been contacted by the same woman on the two of my accounts (my other account, in case people don't know, is a joke account and those who know what it is understand why I have it...it's not to fool anyone). She has written me several times on this main account several times with the EXACT same cut and paste letter indicating that she is available to do sessions. She doesn't say she's a professional and intends to charge me, but it's written in that certain way that tells me that the next contact I make is guaranteed to lead to "send me this amount of money and...."

I don't care that there are professionals on Collarme, but I am not their clientele unless I seek them out. And I'm not intending to. So, it becomes unwelcome mail, just like the women who get mail from scores of men, even when their profiles say "no men". My profile is pretty obvious that I'm a lifestyle submissive, not someone looking to play, so it's obvious that my profile is not read by these people when they send out a message to EVERY man that is in their geographical area. The fact that I know my profile wasn't even looked at makes it even worse.

But aside from that, and responding to the OP, what thinks one really has the right to start complaining about women because of their actions that do not affect you? I mean, if someone writes her profile to say one thing or another, the only person who appears to take offense is someone who is active about reading her profile in the first place. Basically, you're stating that you don't like what someone's profile says, and YOU WANT THEM TO CHANGE. What right do you really have to expect that type of compliance? I mean, you have the same right to post such drivel as you like, but you have no right to expect that such drivel gets translated into action by people you're complaining about in the first place.

I find these types of complaints to be destructive rather than proactive and only serve to set up a situation where we're now going to see pages and pages of anger about stupid things. That's unfortunate.
