So I just have a lot to write about this past weekend...let's start here.  My Lady and I had the opportunity to meet and spend time with LadyPact and MisterP61 this past weekend at Thunder in the Mountains!   What an engaging and fun time we had!  We had thought to only have them for Saturday, but they enjoyed themselves so much they stayed over through Sunday.  :) 

We had the opportunity to share several meals and seminars with them, and Lady P got to play in the dungeon on Saturday night!   Finer folk, you will never meet!  [:)]

The conference was really great and having them there made it all the more special!  We got to talk about all you fine folk (Hi Peon!) here on CM and wish you were all there with us too!

Here is wishing Lady Pact and Mister P61 much fortune and happiness in their new diggs in CA!

How could I resist chiming in?

We had an awesome time with Otters and SthrnCmft!  Both of them are just plain fun and interesting to be around.  Going to events is always great, but getting to meet folks in the flesh for the first time is the best kind of icing on the cake.  For those of you who have never picked up on the wonderful connection that these two have by their writings on these boards, it's absolutely impossible to miss it in real life.  Watching them look into each others eyes is just beautiful to see.

With such good company, who could blame Me for not wanting to leave?  Still, we're driving on.  I hope it won't be our last meet.

Like I said, folks.  Now you'll know people should you decide your travels bring you out our way.  [:D]

So at 10:30 at night LadyPact C-mails me if I am in the mood for coffee.

I did not get this message until just about 2AM

I missed my opportunity to meet them even though they were only a Block and a half from me.

I did however get to talk with them and just as expected it was like old friends catching up and joking about the concept of  "Call me as soon as you get this"

I am sad for not having been able to hang out with them but happy to know that they thought of me while they were in my little corner of Utah.

I'm good thanks... and you?  Life treating you ok?  (trappedinamuseum is in Hawaii right now.. if you get a chance you should meet her.. she's a BLAST!!)

Yes, it can be hard to arrange a drive by meeting for coffee.  LOL.

Still, I have to absolutely agree.  Even though I woke Steel up at a rather early hour, just the voice to voice was fun.  (Though I still say there is something wrong with anyone who can go from bed to out the door for work in fifteen minutes.)  In no time at all, it was like talking to an old friend.  One that I hope it will just be an introductory conversation for more times to come.  I'll just be tiding Myself over until the chance comes for the face to face.

Another hug from us to andi and the midget.  We'll talk to you again soon.  Call anytime!
