I fell asleep and woke up and found they had bitten my headset wire into 10 pieces. They have bitten my c pap hose before and ruined that. I wonder what is next?

I really can't afford it if they bite into my computer wires. I guess i need to spray all the wires with the spray with rosemary in it.

Have any of you had this problem?

Google the House Rabbit Society. These are people who keep rabbits as house pets.  Computer cables and electric wires are the first things the bunnies go for, so the HRS can be a good source of protective sheaths for cables.

Are they inside cats? If so, they need something to do. I don't keep inside cats, I think it's wrong. So I've never had a problem with this type of behavior. My cat gets her jollies outside maiming and murdering small animals [:D]. The inside is strictly a place to sleep, eat, and beg for a back scratching.

Cute. Definitely inside cats. I never see my cat do that. If I hear here jumping around or swatting at something, she has found something living in the house.

I had a rabbit for many years that I had litter trained and he had the run of the house - he liked to chew cables. We wrapped them in foil. It helped immensely....
I imagine the sensation of chewing on the foil which deterred the rabbit would also deter your cats. It's worth a try anyway.

The only thing I've had problems with is KB eating the spongey stuff off my headsets...the mouthpiece and ear pieces....I've never had anyone bother the cables or wires....the tin foil idea sounds like it'd be a good one, not to mention cheap.

We had to get the bitter apple spray for our cables. Puppies seem to love cables for teething. Our cats don't bother them much, but they do chew on other random things, and the bitter apple spray works for them too - apply it once a week and you should be good ... unless the foil thing works - if it does, let us know LOL

i have no doubt that mice got their name because the inventor of said devices
had a cat ( or several ) that chewed and played with them. i'm pretty sure that there
are some circles in which key-boards are refered to as "cat-beds".

>^..^<  they do love us, really they do. [:D]
