Ok, so i don't want to start a hate thing, but i could do with a bit of advice from you all.

I'm in a very happy relationship and have been for some time. My g/f is also a member on here.

It may be a good start to say from the outset that she does have (like a lot of subs) some trust issues. These have been reinforced by past experiences, we've discussed this at length and it's something I understand fully and am happy to deal with.

I spoke to her this afternoon and she was in tears, I managed to get out of her that there was someone on CM who had put in her profile that she was 'under my consideration'

I've NEVER met this person, I have no idea who she is and why she'd put that. If anyone knows this joker or can shed any light on this it'd be greatly appreciated.

edit: I should point out. my previous profile was irreversible. I closed it a while ago as I have no need to come on this site as I'm happy in my relationship. I made this profile today to try and sort this out.

Are you the only other person in the world using that ID on the internet?

Maybe you could c-mail her and ask why she has posted that?

Is it possible that she is under consideration to someone on another site who uses that name?

Maybe your g/f could c-mail her and ask this question.  The point is, no-one here can answer your question with any validity.

God... I am so tired, I clicked on the link thinking it was your submissive... thanks for highlighting someone who may not be guilty as charged. I think I might need to do away with my mouse today...

You might want to get rid of that link. Not because someone tired might click on it, but because you are real close to breaking some rules around here.

Why is it that big of a deal?

Why is your sub that upset that someone posting an obviously fake profile, saying someone with your old screen name is her Master?

Why did you  not just tell her its bullshit, and shes getting entierly too upset about it?

Why are you starting a thread talking about and pointing to the exact profile you have a problem with? the person who made the profile, especially if that person knows you, especially if that persons doing it out of malice, is going to get a kick out of the fact it upset you and your sub so much, shes crying about it and you took time out of your day to start a thread on it.

just sayin.....

I'm Konfoosed... that person's profile states they are "under consideration" (something stoooopud to begin with) by one with a different username than yours???  And why should you care, anyway... I mean... it's the internet.

Ok.....as an experiment, I did a search using a couple different spellings of that name and DID come up with some other profiles on this site, so they are on here.

The internet is a big place.....

My guess on this question is that it doesn't matter what is said to the sub girl. She's a girl. The ones that can "presume" you meant to insult them when you made x,y,z innocuous comment and though you explain at great length that you were *not* insulting them, they will still retain the feeling of the insult for years.

Therefore, if the OP doesn't leap through hoops to 'prove' that it's bullshit, the girl will never believe it.

I'm a girl....

I dont act like that. If I saw someone with my Sirs name on their profile, saying he was with her, she was collared to him, fucking him, ectect ad nausum....Then I would most likely laugh my ass off, and text him asking who the person was.

So dont say all girls act like that please...

Being easily offened, hurt and jumping to conclusions isn't the way of everyone and if it is the way... someone needs to lighten up, heal and grow up and one good way to work on part of that goal is to communicate.

A totally un-nessecary situation became an even bigger situation once it was more than one person jumping to a conclusion. Living reactionary beyond what is reasonable is going to bring out the drama factor...

I never said "all" in my post. But good job reading into it. I often find it amusing that someone will claim not to fit the description I provide, yet somehow take offense to it.

If you truly didn't take offense, then you know you're not in the group to which I was referring. I'm well aware that not all girls are in that group. I am also, however, aware that the group is entirely made up of girls. Most of my (many) female friends are ones who are not in that "group." But then they also do not take offense when I bash that group because I have seen what I have first hand and agree with me (hence why they're friends of mine).

If you are not in that group, and you know you're not.....then don't take offense as it clearly wasn't direct at, including, or in any way pertaining to you.

So, OP, is your girlfriend an in-person relationship, or are you two doin' the online / long-distance thing? Cuz if you're having a meat-life relationship, yeah, she's maybe over-reacting -- after all, she's got you right there & who cares what some trollish online type sez . .. . But if you & the girlfriend are interacting over the 'net, then I can kinda see why she might get all torqued . . . . . .

i think the difference is that the sub of the OP has trust issues.  and so yes, i can absolutely see where that might knock someone off their feet (i had that happen to me. and yes, it DID cause a rift in the relationship.).

so yes, while it doesnt pertain to *all* girls, it may very well pertain to girls in the subset of "having been broken by someone else that have trust/security issues".

i'm still working on mine.

I do think sometimes we give WAY WAY WAY too much stock to the internet. I have been a victim of jealous insecurity recently, it is exhausting, the reality makes no odds it is however the person wants to read it, facebook has broken up more of my friends relationships that I would have thought possible. People need to start having actual human conversations. (oh and btw it isnt just women)

I'm assuming that this woman's dom is on another site and she had no idea there was someone here with the same name. Honestly, it is not the first time such a thing has happened.

All I can suggest is keep the communication open with your sub, if she trusts you enough to talk to you then there should be very little in the way of problems that can not be fixed
