Apocalypso -> RE: Completely stupid emails (7/26/2009 6:04:28 PM)

I once got an email that consisted entirely of the words "you bitch like a girl".  Actually, I kinda liked that.  I wrote back to say "I don't mind as long as it's a hott girl".

DemonKia -> RE: Completely stupid emails (7/26/2009 9:36:47 PM)

FR, after read thru

I got that email; he got my standard form-letter about reading my profile . . . . . I figured it for some kind of troll set-up, to be followed by some kind of abusive second letter .. . . . Haven't heard back . .. . *shrugs*

heartcream -> RE: Completely stupid emails (7/26/2009 11:45:57 PM)

Yes, yes me too, I got that email about two months ago. I answered "Doo doo doo doo da doo doo"

He wrote back and said I was the only one who go the right answer, yeah right.

Yesterday I got the same email. It is not the only form letter gone passed me more than once with an oh-so-witty and clever line.

house? Hell Aylee...those two would wipe the whole damn farm off of the map...

Maybe not.....it's survived Holly this long!  The LO just likes stuffing things into cracks and crevices.....Holly likes to make fire and send out smoke signals!

I got a similar e-mail about a line in a song a few weeks ago.  In the e-mail I got, the guy asked me, "In the song 'Take a Walk on the Wild Side', what do the colored girls sing?"

Count me in, got that one yesterday. But I received emails from the joker before of which went unanswered.

daintydimples -> RE: Completely stupid emails (7/27/2009 7:54:09 AM)

That's the song. I got it yesterday I think.

Wow..it's good to know we're all so special. . . .

GreedyTop -> RE: Completely stupid emails (7/27/2009 7:56:08 AM)

*cries* I've never gotten that

Aylee -> RE: Completely stupid emails (7/27/2009 8:02:16 AM)

So what is the point?

I am kind of feeling bead that sooooooo many others recieved the same email.

What is the punch line?

GreedyTop -> RE: Completely stupid emails (7/27/2009 8:04:37 AM)

I think it's just a way to try and engage someone in conversation..  Sure beats the usual "let me serve you" or "tell me what you need" kind of initial emails, for creativity.

heartcream -> RE: Completely stupid emails (7/27/2009 10:02:47 AM)

Actually the guy behind the email seems as lame as any other 'less-creative' email. No points from me.

Okay. . . I probably miss-spelled something.  A lot of things.

I got an email. . . asking me about a line in a song.  First question. . . Is that a code for something?

I responded with the answer and a query as to why he did not google the answer.

I recieved the reply of "lol you live in kansas"

Umm. . . I know that.

Second question:  Does where I live have any bearing on a line in a song?

He never responded to my second email.

I am very confused as to what this was all about.

Wow i got the same email. bet it was from the same person/thing. fortunatly Art handled it.

daintydimples -> RE: Completely stupid emails (7/27/2009 10:57:18 AM)

At least he has great taste in females !!!

tammystarm -> RE: Completely stupid emails (7/27/2009 11:00:40 AM)

yep that is the one,..... WTF  stalker

Phoenixpower -> RE: Completely stupid emails (7/28/2009 11:54:42 AM)

a guy who is obviously very self-obsessed about his looks...or whatever the reason...as some people know I might start my visa application in the next days (though it seems I might not be able to do it according to my uni...as yes I have the diploma but they can't give me the diploma officially unless I drop out of the course...so I have to negotiate with uni and NZ if the confirmation to have that level passed is sufficient to get the visa process started). However, I neutrally informed a bloke that I am likely to start my visa application for new zealand in the next days after passing 2nd year uni (as after all it is stated in my profile where I am going to go...though seems I have to pronounce that I will do this either way and don't need a bloke for that) and his response was

"I hope the move is for you own reasons and not for me. We have only just started chatting and I do not know you yet.

Your thoughts about this would be appreciated."

Gosh...men...how important do they think they are...so I informed him that he must have a very high opinion about himself and that it has nothing to do with him, as I do know very well that our contact is not great (he does not really talk much...and that email kind of confirmed my impression about him). One of those who prefers to be spoon fed about stuff but just staying in his hiding hole... unbelievible how people over-interpret simple neutral information.
