Well, someone clued me in to this post (I don't much bother with these forums after being hypocritically scolded a ways back) and I just had to come add my 2.4 cents to it.

I have no problems following a dungeon's rules (and out here, most of them feel you're adult enough to know if you can or can't play after a drink or two..) because they're there so that everyone has an enjoyable experience. The only "true" rule I know of is consent, otherwise it isn't BDSM, but abuse. Does this mean I drink and play? No. I don't drink. But I trust my friends to know their limits. (Otherwise they'd not be my friends.) And frankly, the worst accident since I started paying attention to the local scene 8 years ago was by someone stone cold sober.

Not a lot happens on Friday night in terms of local munches. Two of the dungeons have parties every other Friday, and folks didn't want to conflict with them. Same with Sat night.
