Not all Gorean slaves speak in the third person, even if they are owned. Not in the books, and not in real life. You sounded sad that you had lost or chased away former partners or suitors because of your low sense of self-worth. I was trying to suggest a simple way you could demonstrate greater self-worth to others. It is of course your choice to feel lonely, and cling to a manner of speech you use with "everyone." I can tell you that I am (supposedly) dominant, but my own speech patterns change a lot, depending on who I am talking with. I don't see how it would hurt you to be more flexible in your communication with others.

Hon, you write on these forums in any way that you feel expresses yourself best, until commanded to do so by the one that owns you. Don't give that power away to anyone who has neither claimed it or earned it.

one last insight...would never have thought of this..but if the lady ye contacted is outside ireland, then she may just be cybering..playing or toying with ye..lean to pick up the signs..if she is located within this isle then, may need to update yer profile, or else ye contacted a messer....a messer can aslo be female and dominant as well as male and sub...just to say.
