Y'know something I have never revealed ? A girl with a gun is a huge turnon for me. Actually almost any weapon as long as it is superior to whatever I have at the time. In fact you can all stop over and we can just shoot a deer down the street as long as someone knows how to gut it. I hear tell you gotta gut them right away.

AND, I got this infrared broiler that will blow your mind. It is so fucking hot I could make a steakum rare.[as long as it doesn't catch fire] I'll broil the hair and skin off that MF in two seconds. Ooooooo, crispy skin, yummy. If that doesn't work I got one of those trigger turbo torches. I hear tell I can replace the propane tank with acetylene and burn shit alot faster. I'll have to look into that. Now for a side would you like ashes from taters, ashes from asparagus, ashes from corn, what ?

For drinks I can get a cheap bottle of cheap booze off my neighbor I think. But then we aready have battery acid, antifreeze, tranny fluid and so forth. You get the picture. I don't drink with him much. I could always try one of the other neighbors for a better selection. For the dear deer I got .38SW, 12 guage and some 7.62X39, although those might be hard to find right now.

I'd grow some tomatoes but I just don't see the point.

Yeah I can gut it, especially if Irishmist helps a bit. Can skin and quarter it for you too. Yeah you gut them right away so the meat does not sour, and it removes weight to carry the fucker back to camp if you are out deer hunting.

Irishmist, I have only seen an MP5, and would love to fire one, so beg or fight very well. ;)

This is starting to sound like a pretty good idea.

Now remember if the cops come and accuse us of poaching I am going to give them an,,,,,, alternate social security number. Just remember my name is Mary Miller, err wait, I think I got married at some point and it's Mary Snow. I should be able to handle it, I'll just ask them if I had a hunting license would it be legal to shoot a deer in Calgary park in the middle of Cleveland. They will say no of course and I will respond "Well then why the hell should I bother to get one then ?". Should work.

My buddy Hunter and I have discussed this, but he is a gutless wonder and wants to use a crossbow or something so as not to make noise. I asked him "Where is your sense of adventure ?". Actually we should be pretty safe, the cops don't even show up around here for one single gunshot.

So what do we have with our venison ? Perhaps some potatoes Au Gratin or some spicey ricey shit ? Or would a bunch of veggies be better ? I have about three pounds of unsalted butter in the freezer if that helps. (it was on sale)

I just realized now that I had better be careful here. Yall might just show up. We got one dealing with a cantankerous old Man and the other teaching a teenager to drive, what am I getting myself into here ?

It also just occurred to me that I have really given out all the info. All someone has to do now is back check on Mary Snow nee Miller, get her social, reverse two numbers at the end (the way I do it looks like an honest mistake) and my life would be an open book. This is a dangerous place.

Loving every minute of it.

Headed to Missouri end of November, so it is only a few extra hours to swing through to Ohio. Make a yearly trip for Thansgiving for my slave to visit her family. I keep my skinning knife in the car within easy reach, and besides that only need some vice grips,hack saw, rope and a sturdy place to hang the deer to skin it. Is usually easier to find a local butcher to quarter it and everything, but if need be can borrow my neighbors meat saws and grinder.

Will bring my new Taurus 100SS that my slave bought for me. Damn girl was holding back cash from me so she could buy a surprise birthday present.

I was thinking earlier and first of all Orion is in if everyone is cool with that. However to fit in around here and lessen the shock to the old Term, each of you must do something. I find it hard to describe in so many words but I can give examples. You see it has been so long since I was in a situation where everything went right I am not sure I could handle it. Suggested actions include losing your cellphone, wallet or keys. Or you could get a phone call indicating you must get home withim 22 minutes or someone is going to die or suffer a fate worse than death.

I'd have to admit that in a situation with everything going right, I might not know what to do with myself. Everybody has their own money, cars, keys and everything ? What would I do ?

And, would y'all prefer Mrs. Dash Gallant Garlic or regular garlic powder ? If I go get stuff like that it is usually on the weekends. Also, if we take a buck who gets the rack ? Wouldn't want to have the rack war over here so soon after the gunshot - I mean so far so good, but let's not push our luck too much. Get something in the freezer, and if necessary have the rack war the next day.

The first war is the sleeping arrangment. There is the air mattress and sleeping with me, it's your call. I know we haven't gone there but sometimes we just have to make due. I'd buy a couch but there is no room for it right now. But then I have musical instruments, so maybe we just don't have to sleep at all. Of course with a couple of phone calls chemistry can be our friend as well.

Can you imagine if we really do this ? If so we should wait just a bit, let me get some work in so I can take a few days off. I wouldn't wait too long, when the deer get too thick down there they wander into the neighborhoods. Then they are too close to the houses, better to get them in the park. I mean around here someone hears a gunshot down the street they won't call, but they might if it sounds like it came from right out in front. I'm starting to think this would be a trip. Termfest 2009.

Count me out of the rack wars - I have absolutely zero use for the antlers, unless it's to turn them into handles for blades, which I haven't done in far to many years to have the requisit skill level retained.  I will, however, be in on the fight to decide who gets to lay claim to whatever venison doesn't get scarfed down while we're all there. 
 
Ummm... sleeping wars? Well... I figure... time enough for sleep in the grave.  (Not to mention the fact that I'm Used to leaving a quick set camp cot, air mattress, and extra bedding in my vehical due to the various SCA events I attend.  I've gotten to the point this summer of unloading just enough of the camping gear to clean what needs to be cleaned up from the last trip, and then it gets shoved back into the van.  Easier that way than trying to find storage space for it all.)
 
If we decide to do this, I'll make certain to leave instructions with my roomie, J, to give me a frantic call concerning possibly rabid cats, dad being on death's doorstep even moreso than usual, and/or my brother showing up to cause a problem while I'm out of town.  (One of mikey's favorite passtimes for the past 3 years.)  And I'll make certain to pack several of the Better bottles of mead to bring with me.....
