Oi!!

Cantankerous pales, contentious minimizes, dissension's too subtle & discordant is only entering the same galactic cluster of ideas -- when writers & directors are jointly in charge . .. . . .

But hey, it oughta beat the bean counters running things. Unless one likes lowest common denominator 'safe product'?

LOL and RAH RAH!

I knew that'd get a GRAND post from you!  But in all sincerity, you can guess why I posted it.  satire is a dying art.  USA won't really touch it,  had to import the Little Britain lads to do the dirty work for Uncle Sam since Unca Sammy is scared to piss off the fundamendalists that might boyott TV advertisers or sponsors.

at least here, folks like the OP can treat us to some hoime-grown BlackAdder style posts.

well done, Apoco-whatzit.  next round is on me.

Well, but, what about South Park? They're possibly some of the most succesful satirists working, Trey Parker & Matt Stone . . . . . This season has seemed to demonstrate that they're still in fine form: 'Eat, Pray, Queef' is arguably the funnies episode they've done yet, & it's a lovely little take on gender politics . . . . .
