houstonTexasSub -> Introducing gf to being a Domme (7/28/2009 9:09:44 PM)

After some interesting talks, I found my girlfriend is interested in Dom/Sub play.  Since I am a sub, I want to encourage this.  I don't have many toys and don't want to over whelm her with toys, so I was wanting to get people's creative suggestions on things I can start out with, without specific bdsm toys.  We have hand/ankle cuffs, clothspins, and rope.

I figured with those we could probably try some hog tying or very simple bondage.  I thought a trash bag over someone's upper body (with a hole for someone's head/neck, like you would wear if it were raining), could be wrapped with duct tape or something similar to limit movement, resembling something like mummification.

I have done some searching (yes, I know there is a search button :) ), but wanted to see if anyone had any other suggestions.  Thank you very much for your time!!

tensor bandages are cheap and great for bondage iv found, or scarfs,
plastic wrap i hear is good for mummification tho i have no exp with that

i would avoid using metal such as cuffs and chains if she is new, one can be damaged by those pretty easyly, same with rope.

maybe use duct tape =]

PeonForHer -> RE: Introducing gf to being a Domme (7/29/2009 4:12:36 AM)

Duct or gaffer tape is excellent.  It's really strong, but will cut and tear easily.  It'd be easy to bind somebody up, but just as easy to get him out of it when required.

fadedshadow -> RE: Introducing gf to being a Domme (7/29/2009 4:14:39 AM)

so thumbs up with the duct tape? awesome!

VanityFix -> RE: Introducing gf to being a Domme (7/29/2009 4:18:17 AM)

duct tape tears out hairs, and its stickyness feels gross, electrical tape has a nicer feel to it... but never used it with bondage so donno

And your point? A little hair pulling ups the stakes, and what's a bit of gross when he's supposed to be suffering for Her pleasure?

I suggest pulling it off VERY SLOWLY and savoring the effect.

Honestly, its a real thrill for me when Otter comes up with ideas/implements that result in his sufferage. The key for not making it pushy, is contributing the idea /supplies, but not being attached to when, where, and how it happens. That is always completely up to me.

As long as you don't introduce your girlfriend to a Domme....I think you're ok.

For the first time, the simpler the set up the better. Leather cuffs have are simpler with respect to technical or safety issues in comparison to rope or mummification with plastic wrap. With leather cuffs, a snap can easily fasten the hands behind the back, or to some other item. If you wear a leather bondage/utility belt, it allows attachment points for the cuffs. You can also rely on mental bondage where instructions are what bind you.

Cheers,

Sea

I find that CBT can be started very happily with clothespins. I normally don't tie anyone down for this, but you could if you liked. I tend to spread his legs, sit between them on the bed with my little basket of clothespins, get him hard (so that's out of the way) and begin to see how many clothespins I can put on his balls. Then I admire the work for a moment, perhaps play with his cock a little to confuse his brain, and then take them off, one by one. Ten to fifteen makes a nice start, but much depends on the build and shape of the individual male's genitalia.

PeonForHer -> RE: Introducing gf to being a Domme (7/29/2009 7:11:53 PM)

Be prepared for tickling once you're secured, HTS.  It's the first thing they always want to do.

PlzCarla -> RE: Introducing gf to being a Domme (7/31/2009 4:14:41 PM)

Mine asked for duct tape and got it.  Some question of hurting while removing.  Too damn bad.

TexasMaam -> RE: Introducing gf to being a Domme (7/31/2009 7:25:05 PM)

I'd suggest starting with bondage tape, it's easy, fast and fun. You'll find it in pink, blue, green and black in most of the 'sex toys' stores around Houston.  It's about the size of a roll of duct tape, and is self sticking, but not adhesive, it sticks only to itself and peels right off, you can also cut it easily.

Saran wrap/plastic wrap mummification is a great way to introduce a sub to movement restrictions, it would be a fun way to introduce a fledgling Domina to the joys of immobilizing a sub.

Search posts, you'll find instructions for that elsewhere.

Someone suggested electrical tape.  My skin had a weird reaction to electrical tape.
How about kitchen implements: spatulas and the like.
Hair brushes.
Feathers.
Perhaps asking her what appeals to her about D/s and then trying to tailor your selections to your interest (In the interest of starting off on the right foot regarding servitude).

Spatulas are awsome :) Especially if you can find one that has a nice cupped shape. Stings more ;)

Curiousrestricti -> RE: Introducing gf to being a Domme (8/1/2009 1:42:00 PM)

Im in the same position as you, being a mostly sub boy with a girlfriend who is a little curious, we have been together nearly 10 months now and we get along very well and have mostly vanilla sex. She seemed intrested in the kinky side of things when i first mentioned it and we bought some velcro cuffs and various things and everything was well and good. But somewhere along the line I started to try and give her "constructive feedback" about our kinky sessions and too cut a long story short, she didnt seem like she was enjoying much anymore some of the problem was i didnt want to critiscise her during sessions beacuse it kind of defeated the point of the dom dynamic to me. Anyway its a bit of a mine field if your partner isnt all that into the kinky stuff and could put a strain on things, plus I often felt like i was making her do kinky things to me which often spoilt it. I dont really know where im going with this anyway for al i know your girl could be alot more into kink. Basically dont push the issue too much beause sometimes it might just be your girlfriend trying to please you like it was in my case and then she may get issues with feeling like not what you want.
sorry for the pointless rant o.O

slavekal -> RE: Introducing gf to being a Domme (8/1/2009 7:40:22 PM)

Don't forget to do the non BDSM stuff.  Give her a lot of personal service and pampering.  Women LOVE that.  Make all the kink really worth her while.  It will definitely pay off.
