I would have said "opposite sex" but I didn't want to exclude gay and bi folks.

What are some of the more unusual uses for your desired gender?  I'll give two examples:

1. When I expect a woman to come over to my place, I will pick it up and clean it a lot more thoroughly than for any other reason.

2. I once dated a woman who bought herself some lingerie "for me".  Being a typical guy, I would much rather have seen her nekkid and wished that she hadn't blown her money on it.  She used me to justify doing something she wanted to do.

So how do you use your target gender?

Edited to add:  Yes, sex and tying them up/getting tied up and playing are givens.  I'm talking about the OTHER uses.

Well, she might have been the type who always does that or was really into you...I keep certain lingerie barely used for such things or used to..the man I am with now has no interest in lingerie.....He has a things for things that are in leather or latex (black or red only) or lingerie in the same colors (red and black)...i have a thing for pink though...weird huh..but i keep it private..the inside of my purse..my cell phone..etc....but less is more for him. I still wear my sexiest panties and bra under my clothes when meeting and if i were still dating would do the same...just in case!

These days, I pretty much only Have 2 uses for the male species - as living dildos, and as living wallets.  If they don't fit into one of those two catagories, they aren't men - they're women with permanently attached strap ons.  Yes, I know, it probably comes across as a bit of man-hating.  I don't hate them - I simply don't have much use for them any longer.  The few whom I still consider friends - they fit into the "women with permanently attached strap on" catagory. (No offence intended, Termy or UN - but that's where yall are currently classified.)

Call it self preservation.  If I few the few males I actually Trust that way, then I don't Expect anything.  And I don't end up getting burned.

I use guys for sports....explanations and such. I'm moderately interested in some, more in others, and dont' have the background that gives me the 'guy knowledge' of all things sports. I'm not even afraid to ask the dumb questions because most guys seem to really enjoy filling me in on whatever it is that I ask them.

I'll also admit to using them for shopping. I'm not big on shopping but if I find something I like and I'd like to get it I usually try to manufacture a situation in which I'll 'need' to have this lovely item of clothing or whatever it is. It works for me [:)]

You might have preferred to see a naked body rather than lingerie but I am going to guess she was not sure about that.  Most women I know would rather start out looking enticing and lingerie has that effect in our experience.  Being naked is easier if you think you have them interested enough to strip you down.
Even when I was a belly dancer in great shape naked was not appealing to me until I thought it was what he needed from me.

I am not sure what I use my target gender for, unless it would be checking my car fluids, or changing the air filter in my AC.

If you hadn't specified preferring her naked instead of in sexy lingerie, it isn't fair to accuse her of using you to justify the money. Her previous partners may well have preferred her in such items and she may have assumed that all men do.
Plus I imagine she had a fair bit of body image issues since it is damn near universal in women. In other words, wearing the babydoll or whatever  may have been what gave her the confidence to get intimate with you.

I have always though that it was more important what a woman put on than what she took off.  The mystery that lingerie imparts was totally arousing to me.  Alas the woman I liked the most had a tendency to jump out from behind a door naked saying "lets screw."  Effective, but there is so much more possible in foreplay.

Sanity checks and reality checks. If a woman thinks something I'm doing is completely nuts, she may well be onto something that hadn't occurred to me. And I'll stop a moment and consider that possibility.

...killing spiders...helping to move furniture or lift heavy objects...oh yeah!  cooking!

Nah, someone to share experiences with and bounce ideas off of.
