First, fill our your full profile - vanilla interests and kink. Expand your written description of yourself. Talk about yourself, and your desire to serve, how you would serve a Lady and more importantly -why- you want to. What it means to you and what is driving you to want this in your life.

Second, approach it as you would any vanilla relationship with a real live girl - courtesy, chivalry, attentiveness, patience.

Third, find your local community and get involved in real life real time with people in your area. Go to munches, look for clubs, and seek out the people that think like you do.

Remember you are not the only one looking for the same thing. Make yourself noticable, and different in a good way. Fill out your profile and make yourself sound like a catch, not like you are just looking to fulfill your own fantasy. Be polite in first contact and dont get discouraged if not everyone responds back. Remember you are dealing with a woman, not a role, and she will have her own preferences and her own interests too. And mainly, keep in mind not everyone is going to be a good match to what you think service should be. You can either adjust your interests, or you can keep looking for a good match.

It will make a big difference if you get your spelling and punctuation right, too. It's 'one woman' but 'many women', for instance.

I find it both somewhat sad and funny that people continue to come onto the boards expecting to hook up with someone that fast while so many others have been trying for years, and even with doing the right things, having the right attitude and all that, still haven't come anywhere near success.

My first instinct upon seeing this thread was to come in with wizened knowledge of how you have to do certain things, but maybe the OP has it right and the rest of us are just morons. Maybe the way of finding someone is to just come in all unknown and say, HEY, I'm looking for a woman to let me be her slave. Maybe these trolls and wannabes are getting advice from the wrong people (like me).

I read your profile. It basically says "I wanna do this and I wanna do that". It sure doesn't sound like it was written by a 45 year old man.

How about something like "Hello, Mistress. I'm a 45 year old man and I'd like to serve. I have experience in foot worship and housework and I'm willing to do other things to please you. Let me know what you'd like me to do."

How about starting with "I am gainfully employed and would like to serve part time." That's always a big plus in my book.

Actually, that's a very good recommendation. Be active on these boards. Has anyone else noticed that almost all of the subs who post here regularly are 'taken'? (Except for poor Peon who has this bad geographical location. Damned Atlantic Ocean.) Now are all these guys 'taken' because they were just wonderful and articulate before they joined the discussions? Or because they read and participated in lots of debates about what FemDoms are looking for? Or because they were adorable and witty and someone noticed them and snapped them up?

Fill out your entire profile. Send an appropriate message with a beginning, middle, and end so NO one liners. Pictures help as well.
Then don't go on and on about fantasies or how you plan to serve these fantasies of yours. Especially if your new it can be a refreshing start for a Dominant. It is complete bull when people say young males can't get into the scene or serve, not true at all. You must educate yourself on bdsm. Not on porn sites but on protocol, a little history helps, and all the different fetishes - keep an open mind.

Also don't be paranoid about going out in public. Find bdsm events in your town and meet people face to face. Attend classes in your city where you can learn and may meet other beginners and learned from the more experienced. All of this is how I got my start into meeting real lifestyle people.
