...and I have found I am not to tell him how to cook something or he gets really miffed....

*chuckles*

The rule in our house for the kitchen is you either get to do the job or you get to be appreciative of how the other person did. But if you want to have an opinion about how it's done, then you better do it yourself. That came up after one too many times with me loading the dishwasher coupled with a helpful commentary about all the ways I did it wrong.

So many wonderful and beloved acts! And almost all are so simple and almost mundane to others, yet shows true effort, attention and affection. Cudos to all of the contributors. Makes both of Us remember what is really important, cherished and appreciated.

I just wait till he's not paying attention and then restack it. He's better spatially than me in almost everything but the dishwasher. He doesn't think about how you're going to get the morning cereal bowls in after he throws everything in it any which way.

I rub my Masters feet and back.  I also make sure I buy him his favorite snacks and drinks every time I see him.

Golden614 -> RE: 100 Ways to Serve (8/3/2009 8:58:06 PM)

Always come equipped with cheez-its and/or peanut M&Ms. (Having snacks seems to be pretty universal!!)
Scratch his back for hours because I know he loves it.
Remember to turn the lights out!! (it's more difficult than it sounds)
And I managed to not throw away the "symbolic" metal hanger he always has in random places. Although that might have been a little selfish. I have a pretty good idea, but I don't REALLY want to know exactly what it symbolizes... [sm=discipline.gif]

Really great thread, it actually inspired me to post! :-)

always answering questions honestly
being His study buddy for His college classes
being the lighter bearer when we go out
saying yes, please & more
brightening His bad days with humor

gypsygrl -> RE: 100 Ways to Serve (8/3/2009 10:51:26 PM)

--Work
--Bring in the newspaper as I'm leaving for work
--Make the bed
--Turn out the lights before I leave the house if no-one else is home
--Recycle/compost/thow away things according to his desires
--Call him on his shit--thats the one I really don't like doing as it gives me a lot of anxiety but its also the first thing he told me to do when we were making plans for me to move in
--Take my vitamins and eat as regular as possible given my work schedule
--Buy him the occasional lunch/dinner/ice cream etc and pay for whatever extras I can afford (beyond what we've aggreed I would put towards the household expenses)
--Try to keep his lemonaid and orange juice bottles full
--obey

  • There's a large tupperware container I bought for the purpose of delivering dinner to him or lunches for the week.  When it is returned (empty), refill it with something new.
  • Make CD's for his long commute to work
  • Keep the kitchen spotless, as he prefers it
  • Cook when I'm there
  • Be grateful

Welcome to the boards...

Speaking the absolute truth as I understand it even when I'm scared.

MastersPanda -> RE: 100 Ways to Serve (8/4/2009 6:51:49 AM)

Making him dinner every night, even if im sick or super tired. .  .

Doing his laundry and pairing up all his socks :)

Not running away in embarrassment when he dances/sings in public (much harder than you think!!!)

ownedslavesweet -> RE: 100 Ways to Serve (8/4/2009 7:05:40 AM)

- always preparing his food to much higher standards than my own, and always before mine if we are eating different meals
- warming up his side of the bed in winter by stretching out naked, before he comes to bed (ignoring my own)
- completely deferring to him for my hair length and colour, and any other aesthetic modifications

So many other things that have already been mentioned also apply. Lovely thread, thank you.

lyss

SthrnCom4t -> RE: 100 Ways to Serve (8/4/2009 9:13:38 AM)

My boy does a dozen things that make Me feel completely loved and adored.

1. Get up with me hours earlier than he has to. (we both hate mornings)
2. Make my tea.
3. Fix my hair.
4. Put my shoes on....leaves him in the perfect position for taking off his collar (leather with O rings) that he sleeps in.
5. Gathers all my things to take with me to work. (my tea, my badge, my cell phone, my purse, my vitamins, etc)

And that's all before 8am!!!

*laughs* what is this, a sub thing? That's Carol's plan too which always makes me wonder why I bothered to be helpful and load the damned thing to start with.

Not for everyone's dynamic, but yeah... This would be one of the highest services Carol performs for me in my lights. I think I said to Carol, "If you can't figure out how to be my slave AND speak openly and plainly, then the collar's coming off."
