ORIGINAL: TheLadyIsADomme Can I take this thread in a slightly different direction? I know that some people get into the "objectification" of a sub by having him act as a footstool, etc. What is it about that that is appealing to you? When I have tried it, I had difficulty in getting past the feeling that I "should" be interacting with him in some way. Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks! I can answer this. I'm big on objectification (among other things). Men, for me, are literally things to use, but I require them to be multi-functional. So, for example, my sub becomes my footstool for me to relax my legs on while I'm sipping the tea that he just made to my specifications. Or he becomes the table where I eat the meal he's prepared for me (after I've drawn a pretty table cloth pattern on his back lol). Personally, I have a thing for collars and leashes as well, and I find the occasional little "tug" quite sufficient "interaction" for him during that use, because he knows he's being both useful and decorative. Of course objectification isn't limited to furniture. I use my sub as a puppy, a pony, a Ken doll, a canvas for my admittedly poor art efforts, to mention a few. One day, I'm going to turn one into a giant wrapped present for me. Can you imagine the poking and prodding trying to figure out what it is? My inner child loves objectification. It's so much fun! Edited because I forgot to add that depending the direction the sub is facing as he's being the footstool, there can be a whole lot of tease and deny, lol, or he can still be in a convenient position to swat. :)
