I think that it's (almost) all about chemistry now.

As someone said (on this thread)... it's not the bondage, it's the bond... and I 99% agree with that.  I have "found" the chemistry with vanilla women (the "click" in all ways but D/s and BDSM) and I have found the raw passion (I count this as different than chemistry...lust, to me, is it's own thing) and animalistic (not a word... so sue me) pleasure with subs/slaves... but seek that ever elusive combination with the woman that I am to spend the rest of my life with.

As I imagine it (danger, danger... reality does not usually equate to fantasy... as most of us know)... chemistry within our subset would be (almost) mind blowing.  Full integration of two beings into one collared relationship..... the sub/slave/whatever (titles wouldn't matter here) giving everything that she is... and the the Dom (Me, in this instance... hey, I am the one typing here!!!) in taking what she gives, completely losing himself to the new entity of THEM (or US, if it's me).

My parents, in a very vanilla sense, have something similar (my Mom is the only person that my dad has ever kissed.... imagine THAT)... but I am lucky enough to know some (few) of our subset/subgroup/completely fuct folks that HAVE what I describe... the "bonds" that exist between them are wonderful... to see them together gives me hope.

What does Chemistry feel like.... in our world.... I WISH that I knew.... but what it LOOKS like it feels like:

Truly loving your other more than yourself
True sacrifice, from both sides, that doesn't feel like sacrifice from EITHER side
True bonding of everything.
TRUTH and loyalty like most of us can't imagine
Strength form/with/in each other
Giving in to the feeling that existence without the other person may not be worth it... true conquering of fear

I'll have to noodle the rest... great topic though.... I usually just lurk... felt the need to post here.

Anyways.. just my 2 pennies.

There's that term isn't there about relationship: we have chemistry. I've thought about this with reference to bdsm or WIITWD (or rather what it is that i do as i am safer talking about that around here).
I love that raw chemistry feeling. That feeling of having something'done' to me that feels like it's a part of me rather than being done to me. A feeling of total connection. A feeling within me...who was it that called it 'in the slave's belly' for the first time? It can happen during sensation, during restraint or during deprivation. There is no one situation wherein it happens. It can and has happened with totally different persons..which for me is not type dependent or gender dependent. Chemistry is, I admit, dynamic dependent, meaning that o get a 'raw' kick out of being in the submissive position.
It's difficult to talk about chemistry. But I know when it isn't there.
What does chemistry in relationship feel like for you?
Does it take WIITWD for chemistry to take place?
What gets created out of that chemistry? Sex? Attraction? Closeness? Entwinement?
Is it dependent on one particular person?

The answer is, as you said, are different to each individual as are the feelings that are created

Chemistry is what happens when Yin/Yang meet..a force of nature... when someone else is both the same and opposite and the puzzle piece fits and clicks into place. From there the dance is truly beautiful.
