(and by degrading, im thinking of that time i crawled naked to his feet and begged for an hour before he even responded)

I like to learn about war, battles, and etc so people like Napoleon, Alexander the Great, and etc is what I read about. I like to listen to mostly hard music like Korn, Disturbed, etc.. (unless in the mood for soft music). I'm not emotional and I always analyze everything I here/read/see. Lastly, I have never been introduced (nor did I ever want to be) to this type of culture. All of the sudden, Hanna Montanna shoots out of the wood work from out of know where. Here I am reading a song that is just HORRIBLE in every way possible (has no meaning,no message thus it's useless, and makes no sense). It's also a HAPPY, YAY, EMOTIONAL, AND KORNY SONG. Not only did I have to read the song, but I also had to listen to the song MANY times. Yes, I am complaining however I never complained to her directly. I put a fake smile on my face and learned the song, but I was thinking "fuck this shit" in my head while doing this whole project. I won't lie her reaction to my singing was funny for me. I felt better that she was laughing again (she wasn't having a good day). So in that regard, I liked what I did for her. But still, the music is HORRIFIC.

maybe, just maybe, she is trying to pull you out of the shell you have created? you seem far too serious, but i cant be for sure based upon your words, she would know better. maybe she is just doing her job and exposing you to the silly, funny, emotional side of life.

but i am glad you did it. rather proud of you too, even though that doesnt mean much. in the end, you pleased her. and thats all that matters

Status: offline 		gift4mistress, you know what would really touch her heart?  If you learned what her favorite silly bubblegum song was, and then secretly, on your own, learned it... and then you surprised her one day by singing it for her.  That would be worth lots and lots of points, especially because she knows how much it would pain you to do it.

Feel free to have a burning desire to kick my ass, but I bet you know I'm right, and it would be a wonderful thing to do for her.

Status: offline 		For me, this is a matter of obedience, which is very much my "trigger".  If the dominant only requires the submissive to do things he likes, then there really is no opportunity to display his complete obedience to her.  Your domme has given you the opportunity to show your obedience in all three ways:  Physically, by performing the song to your best ability; Mentally, by telling her about your mental disobedience in not recognizing the wosdom of her demand (thereby giving her the opportunity to correct your wrong or discordant thinking); and emotionally, by likewise telling her that you did not take joy and pride in acceeding to her wish (again giving her the opportunity to help you adjust your discordant perspective on the issue). 

I may sound more accusatory than I should, but you have missed something that could have been an incredibly beautiful moment of catharsys.  Even now, you could have that moment back by telling her about your reluctance to obey her.  If you are fortunate, it might lead to a long discussion about obedience and the pride you take in yourself as opposed to the pride you take in being her submissive.  Trust me when I say that the latter has always served me better.

Thus, my answer is that yeah, I'd learn the song.  Since I have a natural dislike for cross-dressing, it would be even more powerful if she made me dress the part.

Status: offline 		I must have led a sheltered life, since I know absolutely nothing about Hanna(h?) Montana. But yes, if Mistress wanted me to dress up as a cute, silly female character and memorise a cute, silly song, I suppose I would do my best. I don't think I would even find this too unpleasant, as long as it was just me and Mistress behind closed doors - tiresome, probably, but not unpleasant. Several times she's made me do private striptease dances for her, and I genuinely can't figure out whether she finds them erotic or just enjoys making me look ridiculous. Either way, I certainly feel ridiculous when I do them, but I've been through the ritual enough times that I'm pretty much inured to feelings of absurdity and humiliation. As long as it's just the two of us.

To up the ante a little, having to dress up like Hanna Montana and sing in front of her friends would be more difficult, but I'm sure I'd obey if she seriously ordered me to do this. How would others feel about going this far?

Maybe next time say "sure, but why on earth would you want me to?", Because I'm betting if she told you ahead of time that she thought that would cheer her up, you wouldn't have objected so much.
