Beats me. I had never even heard of him until fairly recently. When I did see him for the first time my first thought was: my God, he's like Hannity on steroids.

I am distrustful of anybody who sees the world in a black and white, us versus them, good guy/bad guy, paradigm. The truth is never found at the extremes. Also, with the exception of George Carlin (may he rest in peace), I don't trust anybody who has to shout to get their point across.

I love Snopes. I check it nearly every day and anytime I smell something fishy.

I hope you'll forgive me but I always get a kind of mean thrill whenever I can Snope away somebody's claim. It makes me feel intellectually superior.
