GE to Pay $50 Million to Settle SEC Fraud Charges

GE..the only company rated WORSE than Enron for its corporate governance before the Enron scandal broke out
GE..a major contributor to the OB campaign
GE..owner of NBC, carrying OBs water since early in the primaries.
GE..pays $50 Million to settle fraud charges...$50 million the taxpayers gave them as part of their $150 billion bailout

GE..CEO Jeffrey Immelt, on OBs financial advisory board

Does OB have the character to sever ties with Immelt and take steps to rescind the bailout money? You know my vote

Oh yeah...forgot one

GE..one of the largest contributors to toxic dump sites that havent been cleaned up yet, a Green Company that stands to make 100s of millions if Cap and Trade ever goes through

Obama will never sever ties with NBC. He has a personal butt boy Brian Williams doting over him. If you have any doubts watch Brian Williams and his special tour of the white house. He acted like a little boy at Christmas..

Here's another multi-billion dollar gift from Obama  to GE - this one through the massive health care "reform" act that Obama is pushing so hard for.

This should be an interesting thread...a central clearing house where all the malcontents of CollarMe may gather and wax poetic on this perceived "character test" for President Obama
Please take notice of the job tittle....President Obama .....clearly his biggest Character test was the election...and the results for that are in already!

Another multi-billion dollar gift?

Well let's review the history.

GE got it's bailout money in November.

And I'm a little fuzzy on this since it was so long ago, but I don't believe Obama took office till January.

I'm sorry Iron ... but did you ever say anything to Sinergy when he constantly referred to Bush as "monkeyboy"?

An absent companion, who carried the banner of his political and social attitudes proudly in these forums.  I'm pretty sure he had stopped posting before you became active in the same areas.

Let's rephrase Firm's question to more recent times.  Did you ever comment to Owner59 or Bipolarbear about how they referred to President Bush II?

I posted that Brian Williams was a butt boy for Obama. I never said anything derogatory about the chosen one.

It's all good, as I think I may have found last year's winner. Or at least, runner up...

These OP's continue for a while to make me laugh. It is very possible that under the repubs GE wouldn't have had to pay anything at all. Bush's SEC were all over Standford and Madoff for four (4) years and what did we get ? We got...everything is alright.

Get a grip kinkroids...soon Obama will look just like repub. Who do you think was getting all the money when they were in power ?

Corruption in the US at all levels of govt. is singularly the greatest bi-partisan party go'n on...the dems are just still a bit rusty.
