Hysterical. I can, however, relate.

I have a cat who will eat anything (literally, plastic included) and often it interferes with his digestion. A cat having an avocado fart...you truly don't want to know what this smells like.

Avocados are toxic to cats.
As are grapes and raisins, onions and garlic... list here:

Sure are, Greedy. Thanks. Hope the same for you and the pirate.

Glad you (and the others) enjoyed it. I busted a gut when I read it.

How really funny. I just shared a bedroom with a 150# mastiff that has occasional gas AND snores.........loudly.

Gotta love going on vacation. (actually it was a great time, Magnes snores and all)

Ladynslave -> RE: butt-dwelling critters (8/7/2009 3:43:16 PM)

Oh wow, I laughed so hard I cried.  I can relate as my pit bull/labrador has a similar problem though he doesn't waste time looking for the critters.

windchymes -> RE: butt-dwelling critters (8/7/2009 5:16:22 PM)

Lucylastic -> RE: butt-dwelling critters (8/8/2009 6:13:33 AM)

OK that made me laugh.......my old dog use to do that, but she would do "silent but violent ones" and creep out of the room with tail between her legs hoping no one caught a whiff before she'd  hidden, she also used to hide her head under cushions thinking we couldnt see her, 150 lb of husky shepard aint that easy to hide.
Boo on the other hand doesnt seem to fart at all(thank heavens for small mercies)

Thank you, I have that list. With this cat I learned early on I better find out what could make him really sick. He's not offered people food that could hard him, he tends to steal it. I do however, appreciate your concern.

As funny as this story may seem to some, it could be that your dog has a real health related problem and you need to take the dog to a local vetranary clinic to be checked out and possibly treated.
For dogs this could be a serious and life threatening issue if it gets worse, yes vets are not cheap but if you care about your pet, have it checked out soon !!!!
You dog seems to realize some thing is wrong from what you have said,but cant talk to you in english so dont wait too long to find out if it is serious.
