Don't ever watch the greatest show on earth because it isn't. It only left me wondering where they store all that gaudy looking circus furniture when they move from place to place.

My dad's uncle used to make homemade moonshine. My dad kept it in the fridge in a mason jar. My sister and I thought it was water so we took a couple drinks.

LMAO she was only about 12 at the time, I was about 9.

We learned never to drink anything that we did not first ask what it was

I had to put My vehicle in park once to get it to stop after losing My brakes completely on the interstate, while approaching a traffic jam, no less. WITH two of My sons, two cats, and everything we owned crammed in the back (this was post-separation from My first husband, by way of explanation, but I rarely if ever do anything halfway so what the hell. It saved our lives.)

Don't ever mistake the little dark red pepper appearing on your plate at the fancy Chinese reastaurant for a sliver of pork, or place it in your mouth without at least a gallon of water nearby, especially if you are interested in continuing to be able to breathe.

Do not ever walk or slide into the IJsselmeer (the huge lake in the center of The Netherlands) if you want to go for a swim. The submerged basalt stones on the dike are slippery and sharp. I had to slide in sitting last Friday and got some minor cuts; sufficient to not do it again. A girl friend had a somewhat worse minor cut and had to ask for a band-aid at a camping site.
