Status: offline 		i am working on moving into a 24 7 total power exchange relationship. my future Owner has talked about branding or tattooing me to show i am Her property. i would love to see other slave's marks of permit ownership.

I say this as its easier to get a tattoo than have it removed.

By definition a mark of ownership is a deep commitment, so just like marriage it shouldnt be entered into lightly. The mark, if its a branding is a permanent reminder, of what went wrong/could have been ect ect. In that respect i think it matters very much. Even when you are sure things will last, there is no guarantee, so to me, its important to be as sure as possible you are getting it right.

Laser surgery to remove a tattoo isnt that cheap here in the UK, I guess getting one done over the top may be an answer. I am just pointing out possible pit falls to the OP.

Status: offline 		I have no marks I can show you. I wore a collar for my mistress. However a good start might be to take out the ad in your profile. If you are working on a 24/7 relationship, it might get confusing to others and might make your current owner feel bad.

My ex roommate had a tat taken off his leg. 2 days in the hospital and then 3 weeks in a wheelchair. Wasn't that hard on him, but it was hell on the rest of us. As to the cost, I have no idea, the VA paid for it.

Oh and the scar on his leg is really nasty, but I guess he can always wear long pants.

Ahhhh... See?  That's why I'm not big on body mods.  Nothing lasts forever.  I'm just afraid that this current 'trend' toward overly tattooing oneself will end soon enough and then everyone is stuck with these 'sleeves' and huge tats that can't be hidden forever.

While all that is fun when you're young and adventuresome - ie stupid - it sucks when you grow up and try to get a job in the 'real' world and find out no one will give you a white collar job when you have "SLUT" tattooed on your throat. (Yes.  I've seen that one.  As well as "Playa" and "Gangsta")

Firstly, I am from the UK and my step brother is a tattoo artist, when I had a cover up he showed me many places that would remove it for the same cost, and yeah scars are what is left, but personally I wouldn't have laser removal anyways.

So if someone is owned for a short period of time, say a year does that mean that the fact that it ended meant they were never owned?

I see tattoos as reminders of important things in my life, if a relationship is important enough to inspire a tattoo it ending wont remove the impact it had on me or the lessons I learned. (I know what you are thinking, why did I have a cover up, it was a 'no regrets' tattoo meant to last five years which faded to a nasty gray colour and bled into the skin so it needed covering with what is essentially a larger version of the same idea)

Throughout life we receive emotional scars, they may be good or bad but things in our mind that are constantly there and tattoos to me are simply a physical representation off that. So I think to get to the stage that you do want to permentantly mark your skin is a pretty special thing.

We don't know if it will be a cutting, a brand, a tattoo...maybe a combination of two or all three. She really likes tribal tattoos, and so do I.

I'm also finding as we spend more time together in our relationship as Mistress and slave my masochism and devotion grow more strong.
