Evil muh-fuh's that do nasty things to our planet, our food, our men, our women and children. If you read the writing on the wall there is a small handful of dickless white men in control. Honestly they make it too scary to spell it out but Majestic 12 would be one such utterance. Such a misnomer. More like Monstrous 12. Evil is evil and how they managed to seriously deviate Life to such a mammoth degree is beyond describing.

What do I hate about politicians....
They are liars
They are corrupt
They are owned by special interests
They act in their own best interest rather than the national interest
They are cowards
They care more about being reelected than they do about doing the right thing

That will do for a start

Yeah, but other than that, they're fine people.

I think the main problem now compared to a simpler, earlier time is that a politician USED to be someone who had hade it in whatever business, retired early and gone into "public service" to have something to do.   They had previously held a "Real Job".

Presently, someone will go to college and major in Politics and Public Affairs (or whatever it is at the particular university).  From there, they hook up as staff for some congressman.  Then, after a few years, if they are tall, good looking and photograph well, and MOST IMPORTANTLY will do as they are told.  The party will run them for the state house and on and on.  The problem here is you end up with congressmen, senators and presidents who have gone their whole life and NEVER held a "Real Job" and it shows.  They are more concened with advancing their career.  ie getting reelected than they are with doing what they need to do for their constituents.  Unfortunately, We, the constituents would rather listen to talk radio and do what WE are told than actually use our brain and make up our own minds about the issues.

I'd be more concerned with the dynasties--Adams, Kennedy, Bush...

...and why being a spouse is a qualification for political office--Dole, Clinton...

Happens too often to just be one of those things.

Do you really believe that stuff? Can you present any reliable proof for the existence of such a group? If you can, I will accept that they exist, but if you can't, then I will dismiss them as imaginary...just like the Elders of Zion, the Illuminati and other such groups.

I expect that the actual person that I voted for can spend at least on day per week to listen to voters problems and not have those responses delegated.

I expect a politician to spend at least a day or two in a tent to experience what a houseless person experiences since how can a person serve the voters if a politicians version of "suffering"....bah! is a four star hotel instead of a FIVE star hotel?

I expect a politician to spend some energy on really getting voters more jobs via new industry startups, getting voters children more scholarships and finding a ways to reduce voters telephone, gas and electric bills.

Sadly all politicians that I ask about these things evade any real responses to my questions.

Sadly the worst event was at an intersection when a politician was walking by and said hi to me and then I asked " will you give up your ninety thousand dollars office stipend to give ninety scholarships to ninety voters children and have as your office a tent?"

Politician fucker just ran! away from me!..............bah!

There is plenty of reliable proof, go look yourself. I dont care what you accept as existent, your choice. Doesnt change reality though.

I hate the Party Line, support the party not the people.  Both support their own party before they support anyone else.

And example (ok, it's the GOP, I know the Dems are very guilty of the same thing)  Back in Dec when the war funding vote came up, it was all the same BS, if you don't approve or support the Pres & war funding you support terrorism and hate America.  But when the same war funding vote came up in March, every GOPer voted against it, Why?????  This to me was a very clear sign, they only care about the party

There are plenty of examples of both parties putting the Party Line first, before the people

See, here's what annoys me.

Clearly, you weren't seriously trying to have a conversation, discuss a point, foster a cause, solve a problem, find a solution.

You were looking to get your jab in. You did. Good for you. Nothing accomplished.

The politician well served constituents by not wasting time on such nonsense.

Now, as I said earlier, go with a real problem, real facts, looking for real solutions--and surprise surprise, you get results.

And they justify that nasty behavior by saying it's in the name of God. God wants them to make profits and make money and do well and global warming isn't real. That's what those nasty religious people believe

Well then provide some. In the absence of such proof there is only one logical conclusion.

One of the growing things that I've noticed over the last few years, is how some politicians utilize fear to motivate people for some of the most vile actions imaginable... and how they seem to be using the idea of possible future crime to make it a priority to act:

Hussein might drop an A-bomb... (if he had one) on us, so we need to invade his country, even though we KNEW that he neither had the bomb, nor did he have anything to do with 9-11...

We need to have torture in our toolkit, because, you know, there might be a case of where there is a bomb in one of our cities, and we'll need to get the information out of a terrorist immediately. (Nevermind that the info you get this way is often false. That the terrorist would only have to hold out until the HYPOTHETICAL bomb went off...)

We need to kill the health care reform bill because there's a chance that maybe it could be re-written to include "death panels"... Nevermind that if we DON'T get some kind of health care reform, we're going to be paying an extra $500 BILLION dollars within the nest decade...

Gosh, I never realized that so many republicans were fans of Phillip K. Dick, and/or Orwell...

I want to listen to what you folks hate about politicians?

You mean besides the fact that they spend on their election campaigns, many multiples of what the job pays... yet with a straight face, they will actually claim that their motivation is to serve the people?

I don't hate them; nor do they 'tick' me off.

They are just people who WE put in office; humans with the same failings, faults, fears, and misplaced 'dreams' that WE have.

The politics generally irritate me.

Honestly it's the endless debates and the extraordinary length of time it takes for -anything- to get done.

Politics is the art of seeking trouble, finding it everywhere, diagnosing it incorrectly and applying the wrong remedies.
