I know what you mean about how cool it is when a feral starts to trust you; the one I call Bruiser (aka The Cat Who Came To Thanksgiving) is beginning to let me scritch him about once or twice a week, and he doesn't run away when I walk into the kitchen. Oh, and to keep this on topic, I'll wager that Moderator 11 never REALLY kicks kittens or the elderly, she was just joking. I think.
