Hi everyone! This is my first post here. This is a simple thread; no right or wrong answers....i just want Your opinions.
i'm looking to make a list of music,(both songs and artists), that is good for certain Domination scenerios. i'm partial to FemDom, but want to hear any suggestions. Everything from slow, sexy grooves to go with worship, sensual torture and teasing, to wild sexy numbers to accompany strap-on sex. Beat-heavy songs to be spanked or whipped by. Even dark, Goth-themed music for more intense scenes. Anyone know of any groups or artists that use a lot of D&s-themed lyrics in their songs?

I played with a woman who liked to have music on during scenes.  I just found it distracting.

At clubs and play parties, loud music is common, and I don't much care for that, either.  It makes for less tension, and makes it harder to do "quiet" scenes. 

Not to say there aren't occasions where music is appropriate or can enhance things, but I think its use is overdone, myself.

I don't have special scene music, but I listen to music a lot, and almost always have it on during play.

J.J. Cale has been a passion of mine for years. Loreena McKennitt. Engima. Lots of times I'll deliberately pick something unfamiliar to my sub--some lesser-known Bach and Dengue Fever are themes for me right now. Unfamiliar music disorients him while he's blindfolded and tightly bound, and I like playing with that little extra edge.

Love Enigma, especially MCMXC A.D. - it starts slow and builds. Totally amazing for doing a full scene especially when fisting my mate as we start with the stretches and by my favorite song i am swaying and really taking his ass

I know this has been here for more than month now, but I just saw it and want to comment.

A song like "The Hand That Feeds" is specifically about rebelling against those in power and destroying existing power structure. It's essentially a protest song. Not exactly what brings the kinky D/s sexy feelings, at least for Mistress and I.

Hello A/all,

A few year back, I discovered a band named "Bitch" in L.A.  They had a song called Be My Slave, and the rest of their stuff seemed to have a Fem-Dom. edge to it.  My T/O, Meade likes the "Braveheart" soundtrack quite a bit.  Pat Benatar's music always puts me in mind of powerful women too.

If you do a search on this, there have been some great threads with lots of music. I have an extensive list that I should keep on hand for these threads as some of what I have found is not real popular but really says a lot that we can relate to... like Ride the Pain. I just am sorry I don't have time to put it all together at the moment. I wish I could remember the one thread that was amazing in music choices.
