Only 2 or 3 times that I recall and it was warranted. Haven't been put on awaiting approval so far, just had warnings.

I lost count after 10. Were they "deserved"? A few of them were, I'll admit that. Most, though, were because I didn't edit my opinion on something prior to hitting "send" and my unedited opinion was considered "inflamitory" or "snarky." (I calls 'em likes I sees 'em.... if someone doesn't want Honest opinions, they shouldn't ask fucked up 'tardo questions in the forums.... )

There have been two times (maybe three) that I specifically remember getting orange mail in my box. And another 2 or 3 times when Eleven took down posts of mine but didn't send cmail, and I was clueless as to why my posts were removed but other similar ones from other posters remained. I think one of the times it was "hijacking". I don't get into too many rumbles, but on the occasion that someone comes at me with antagonism or an inflammatory remark because they're not evolved enough to disagree without being an asshole, I definitely will bite back, and usually harder than what was delivered to me. I think even in the most nasty and angry exchanges people will eventually tire and go away without anything harmful happening. Groups of human beings interacting together find their own balance as a whole when left to their own devices, which is why I think moderation does more harm than good in that it seems to corrupt the natural process. I can however see moderation being necessary if something illegal crops up.

It's kind of a weird one because there is this law in the UK that you can have one drink with a meal in a restaurant when you are 14 also at 16 you can drink shandy in a pub they say. As for drugs nope no one is allowed[:(].

2 or 3 times for me. Once for mentioning doing this stuff before the appropriate acceptable age (regardless of the fact I was married). I may have gotten smacked on that one twice I don't recall. And once, very early on was for quoting an email. They were standard emails giving me a heads up on what was acceptable and what was not. I didn't find one rude thing about them. In fact I have to wonder what kind of up tight pissy .. umm.. what sort of inexperienced poster would read a mod smack as rude. Seems to me that any adult should be capable of accepting the rules of the road without having a mental breakdown.

Yep it's one of those many things that needs to be thought about with the aim of clarification and standardisation for every environment.

I've been mod smacked about 5 times, and put on moderation once, under an old name. I am usually very well behaved, so there's no reason to mod spank me unless I allow someone to set me off neough to come out with claws and teeth out to do damage.
