Absolutely love the show... Love the way they do shifters as well...

My girl and I never miss an episode and are planning to get the DVD sets...

There is only two other shows we follow this diligently... Dexter and the United States of Tara

ShaharThorne -> RE: True Blood (10/8/2009 11:34:12 AM)

He is a Viking and everyone knows that Vikings look like gods, especially in romantic books....

*is a puddle when around the series, got the first 3 books from the library here*

BTW, Shreveport has a landmark for True Blood. The city developed and dedicated it along part of a film trail last week.

SimiBlue -> RE: True Blood (10/8/2009 11:53:52 PM)

I can't wait for the new season either. I'm dying to see what Eric will do next. Eventhough I've read the books I like the changes that were made in the series.

TwistedHeart74 -> RE: True Blood (10/9/2009 8:06:39 AM)

See, I really didn't like the books O.o I thought they were dull. I LOVE the show though!!

RobertCloud -> RE: True Blood (10/9/2009 8:12:48 AM)

Since I am an author I rarely have the time to read because I am writing, but this is a set of books I am thinking of getting and reading,...

You soooooo want to get those books, just don't expect them to be anything like the series, they are totally different.

soul2share -> RE: True Blood (10/9/2009 2:35:44 PM)

I loved the books....I've reread the entire series at least 4 times.....I love the better character development and the addition of new supes in each new book.  And the humor is there in the books that isn't as obvious in the series.  I do like the series too.....but there are things that I wish hadn't changed.  I've watched the first season at least 4 times on dvd.....I so can't wait to the next season to come out!

Isn't it that way with most books that are turned into movies or series...
It is why Stephen King has a much bigger say in his movies now... After the first make of "The Shining" he started demanding it.

ShaharThorne -> RE: True Blood (10/13/2009 10:36:21 PM)

I finally finished up Living Dead in Dallas and Club Dead today. Will pick up Definitely Dead next week from the linrary and then I can say I read the entire series.

RobertCloud -> RE: True Blood (10/16/2009 9:25:28 PM)
