Status: offline 		How do you (all inclusive) feel regarding slaves/subs sleeping with gags in for the entire night? I am pondering this, I don't feel it would be safe...even with it being a ballgag strapped on, or a penis gag strapped on. I have kept them bound, but always felt like I should undo the gag, against my deepest wants of course.

Status: offline 		I personally would find it a bad idea ESPECIALLY if they have any kind of apnea. I would be more likely to go for a blindfold in their sleep than I would any kind of gag.

Just an afterthought have you thought of creating a nerf gag? Open cell foam so that they can breathe?

Blindfolds and carefully chainging them to the bed? That I'm comfortable with. Gags over night? No, if they get ill, or need help, they can't ask for it.

I've slept with a bit gag before, but would recommend against a ball or penis gag. You want something that's not going to completely block the oral cavity, just in case the wearer should become ill, or if they have upper digestive problems that might cause them to aspirate stomach acids.

But expect a LOT of drooling to be happening overnight.

Status: offline 		Suggested alternative would be a "Gas Mask" or industrial respirator. Keeps them quiet gives a certain level of sensory deprivation. And reasonably safe.

Status: offline 		I've never worn a gag all night, but my gut reaction was TMJ and dental problems after continued practice. What about an alternative, like a chin strap which keeps the jaw closed and is quite common then some duct tape over it? I wouldn't combine bondage 'and' gag however because if something goes wrong, the bottom has no way of escaping nor calling out, unless you're planning on staying up all night and watching her sleep. Knowing the bottom will be your best gauge. Do they tend to wake up with a stuffy nose? Is breathing going to be an issue if they are gagged with duct tape all night? For me, it wouldn't be an issue because I'm a nose breather not a mouth breather, but for others it might be. I certainly wouldn't do it if I were sick with a cold or something though.

Status: offline 		I would say a gag in place all night would be a bad idea. If Your sub were to have medical issues it would just complicate the situation and honestly we all don't sleep breathing through the nose. On top of the breathing issue I would think it could cause other oral issues as well since our mouth salivates when something is placed in it and overworked glands could have other issues develop as well.

Sensible bondage (not too restrictive) for my girl while sleeping is something I enjoy (not *every* time, though) but gags are something I reserve for when I'm able to give her my total attention re safety.... I'd rather she had a good night's rest! Funny how I've often marvelled at how mentally well rested a bound sub awakens despite some understandable physical stiffness.

Personally, I'm loathe to even leave the room while she's gagged, even if only for a few seconds to fetch something.... It won't happen while she's sleeping and most especially not while I'm asleep!

Under normal circumstances I might agree but the way I'm reading this is that hands would not be available to remove the mask in the event of emergency and "quiet" while they're choking wouldn't be the way I'd want to end up in jail.

I can see that a bit gag might work as your mouth can open at least wide enough for you to have a wet pillow in the morning....lmao...oh what an awesome idea

oh lord when i read you post i thought i would faint! i have sleep spena, this is a sleep disorder that can be found having problem in the nose or thoart orlungs. now here lays the problem with leaving someone with a gag now you may have had good times doing this and no problem, but how many slave do you personal know of their heatlh probelms always how many have been check for this disorder? here is antoher problem if one or more has this gag but the mouth can lead to death i have it through my thoart and nose so if my mouth is gag i cannot breath no matter what! i had a stuffy nose i could not breath at all this is just a stuffy nose mind you, the prolbem with sleep apena is you stop breathing and you need machine that pushing air pressure into me to help me breathe at night or when ever i sleep. so if you gag one or more person check to make sure none of them has this disorder. they would not be able to breathe at all, a way to check for yourself is to leave them sleeping and check which one snores if they do they may have this disoders i know i can not breathe with out my machine when i sleep it is scary as hell, oh if one air way is blocked they will not be albe to breathe at all do the homework on this

I couldn't agree more! First off, it can be dangerous. What if the slave got congested or had a panic attack??? The first and largest problem is that if you are asleep, you certainly are not there to watch over them and make sure nothing bad happens. A Dom should be responsible and leaving the slave unattended (during sleep) is very irresponsible in my book at least. Good Call!

Status: offline 		There is leather Harness you ban buy or make that will give the same effect as being gagged. I would use a tube gage but you must be aware of a medical condition called sleep apnea which some people might stop breathing the middle of the night. I just got an idea get you’re self a small plastic wiffle ball and you can buy them in packages. I have used them to make my own ball gag with them. They have holes win them and you pass a rope thought the holes and you can tie then in place. The person will be able to breather for the holes will allow air to pass through them.

Status: offline 		The thing is a respirator is designed to be safe to wear in an environment where removing it can kill you. So they are designed so that there is not a need to remove them. Without a filter in place they still provide a muffle. The only thing I can think of that would be a hazard would be if the person vomitted inside the mask, a consideration you would have to address for safety. I know I've slept in a Gas Mask for military training a couple times. Not comfortable but certainly not a huge risk.

one of my rules in Play...... TOP is to keep themself "AWARE" of the bottom's situation at all times!

I would say it would be rather hard to do if your a sleep... but that's just me.
