I practice purring/growling, which basically amounts to making your R's roll.  I've also been trying to associate purring when I feel at peace or blissful, or when I see or read something pleasant. ;)

Due to being a hobbyist writer, I also tend to imagine how to make a boring real life scenario exciting by introducing an outside fictional element.  Like if I were in a queue I was secretly being followed by some super spy and I had to deliver a package or message in a covert fashion.   (I swear I'm not crazy!)  I then take the situation from there and play it out in my mind and if it doesn't sound horrible I try to remember it for the future.  Sort of like mentally practicing writing.

I observe relatively unpleasant situations and, just to see if I can and to test my conflict resolution prowess, attempt to defuse it with humour.  Has gotten me into trouble sometimes, and doesn't always work.  However I'm quick and agile and know all the best spots to hit quickly before running away. :)  (ie the groin)

Vanity, I want you to be on my contact list for when the Zed uprising begins.

Lord knows there can never be too many safe houses.

I did notice that James Bond's chosen method for delivering secret packages was often to duct down to the local post office and queue with all those other secret agents such as that former KGB agent (now hired hand for evil) that has a rocket launcher integrated into her fake pushchair.

*grins* The silliest things we can come up with sometimes when bored.  For instance, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

What that movie failed to mention is they are all still one foot tall.

Splinter is for example still the same size as a rat.

Is there one scene where a human beings stands next to a TMNT or splinter the rat, I asks?[8|]

Ohhh man! The TMNT drop! What happened on the third movie? They all look like Zombies!

I throw knives, nail, sharpened pencils, and all other sorts of implements into my wall(in my kitchen, I call it my verticle silverwear storage)...dunno if it's a hobbie, but it passes the time

lioncub -> RE: Unusual Hobbies? (8/14/2009 12:13:28 AM)

First time I threw a knife it went behind me. That was also the last time.

I balance things on my nose, like branches, tennis rackets, the like.

there's some really easy ways to throw a knife, like placing a small long one(this includes large nails, pencils, ect)in the base of your palm, and "pushing" them forward over hand, or with large heavy ones, throwing under hand like a bowling ball...
