I was feeling pretty good today, on the way home from work I decided to turn on the radio, and it decided to work. (works about ½ the time)

So the guy is singing "Last night I gave up smoking, Women and drinking, the worst fifteen minutes of my life".

Now that's my kind of song. You don't want to hear about the early David Allen Coe.

But I wonder who did that song, I'll have to download it once I get hooked back up.

well, Dunno if this is very humorous, but that reminds me of another ol timey song

"Once I was happy and had a good life
had enough money to last me for life
I met with a girl and we went on a spree,
She taught me to smoke and to drink Whiskey

Cigareets and Wuskey and wild wild weman, they'll drive you crazy they'll drive you insane
Cigareets and Wuskey and wild wild weman, they'll drive you crazy they'll drive you insane

Cigarets are a blot on the whole human race
A man is a monkey with one in his face
that's my definition, believe me dear brother
A fire on one end and fool on the other

Cigareets and Wuskey and wild wild weman, they'll drive you crazy they'll drive you insane
Cigareets and Wuskey and wild wild weman, they'll drive you crazy they'll drive you insane

writ on the cross at the head of my grave
to weman and whiskey here lies a poor slave
take one in dear stranger take one in good friend
they'll write in big letters what words I sing'n

Cigareets and Wuskey and wild wild weman, they'll drive you crazy they'll drive you insane
Cigareets and Wuskey and wild wild weman, they'll drive you crazy they'll drive you insane"

Rodney Atkins --  uber yummy man

(That last part was just an FYI, since you can't see him on the radio...  *wink*)

Bet I can get a picture off the net. Good thing too, because I'll let you in on a little secret.

I am one of the highest paid TV technicians  in this state, and do not have a working TV hooked up ! Seriously, if someone called me right now and said "turn on channel five right now" I have no way to do it.

Thought you might get a mild chuckle out of that. Oh, BTW I was once a quite successful audio tech, and I meant what I said about my car stereo only working half the time. Good thing I am no longer a mechanic, if I was the damn car would probably fall to pieces.

Hey, it just occurred to me, with political correctness racist jokes are out, but we have other people to pick on. People in certain professions. Wow, the potential is staggering.

Now that I think about it, I am glad I quit working on computers, I think if I still did I would probably not be able to get online and stir the pot here.
