A traveller had gone east in search of wisdom.
One day he found a grey-haired old man sat at the side of the road. Upon his lap this old man had a tray. On which, the old man was rolling some plasticine like substance into very small balls.
"What are you doing?" The inquisitive traveller asked.
The old man stopped what he was doing and looked up at the traveller.
"I am making clever pills," the old man replied.
"Clever pills?"
"Yes, they help you to learn," the old man told the traveller. "If you buy some of these pills and pop them into your mouth they'll help you to learn."
"How much?" The curious traveller enquired.
They agreed a price and hard cash changed hands. The traveller popped a couple of pills into his mouth and tasted them. After a seconds he spat them out.
"They just pieces of bullshit!" The disgusted traveller declared.
"Ah, now you're learning," the old man told him.
