Swine flu jab link to killer nerve disease: Leaked letter reveals concern of neurologists over 25 deaths in America

The letter from the Health Protection Agency, the official body that oversees public health, has been leaked to The Mail on Sunday, leading to demands to know why the information has not been given to the public before the vaccination of millions of people, including children, begins.

It refers to the use of a similar swine flu vaccine in the United States in 1976 when:
More people died from the vaccination than from swine flu.
500 cases of GBS were detected.
The vaccine may have increased the risk of contracting GBS by eight times.
The vaccine was withdrawn after just ten weeks when the link with GBS became clear.
The US Government was forced to pay out millions of dollars to those affected.

That wasn't hidden or anything. Articles on it have been online since I first looked it up right when the swine flu started getting all hyped in the media.

Also, the vaccine now is probably different from the vaccine then, and I seriously doubt there will be a mandate to get it. They made it REALLY fast. If they mandate it and something goes wrong like in 76, they'll have to pay through the nose.

I'm not getting a swine flu vaccine with the information I have right now.

Nobody is taking over healthcare, it's about reducing costs. What's really eats my meat is that when the deficit increases you guys are gonna be the first to bitch about it, and if you had let single payer go through it would have reduced costs and got the deficit under control. But you guys just don't get it.

You are like a bunch of Neanderthals, everybody else in the world is doing better spending less money on healthcare and getting better results but you guys are brainwashed thinking America is the best at everything.

I've gone from a conservative Reaganite to a limousine liberal. I was brainwashed with free enterprise crap and Adam Smith and his invisible hand but I can see now that a mixed economy is the best way to go. There's something about cross-dressing, just thinking about it, I get sick to my stomach and I need a gravol.
