ok that being said this is the first step in my journey. i'm looking for a switch near philly who's more sub than dom. don't know my limitations yet. really need someone to teach me. i know i just joined but i need to start getting to know the rules and ettiquette and what not. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

at the risk on sounding likr a total idiot, what exatly are munches? that's one of the few terms i haven't erally figured out yet.

munches are gatherings in a public, vanilla setting (usually a restaurant) for folks to get together in a non-threatening environment. 

Here's something I found by googling Philadelphia and munch

ETA:   Munches are NOT meant (ideally) as meat markets.  if you go, contact the organizers ahead of time, let them know that you're very new, and seeking friendship and mentoring.  DO NOT go expecting to hook up with someone immediately.  Be yourself.  Make friends without having an ulterior motive.
