Short shorts seem to have gotten longer than in my youth but Michelle does certainly look hot.

Ummm.. those aren't short-shorts, dear.... basic summer shorts, yeah, but not short-shorts. THESE are short-shorts. The first lady's shorts were half-way down her thigh.

I don't think she was going for the dignified look. According to the video it was 106 out, I think she was going for the "don't want to pass out in this heat" look. Of course I have been known to wear crocs, so what do I know about fashion.
