Someone once paid me in $2 bills. He handed me 5 of them that were freshly printed ,so I gave them the once over.They had a red medallion where it should have been black like the rest of US currency and were dated 1928.And the guy says "I have five more and no one wants em, ya got a ten?'' So I hand him a ten and he gives me the rest that he had. I took them all to my cousin who deals in antique currency . He gave me $200 for all ten bills.
Lesson of the story...just because it looks funny doesn't mean it isn't.
