Well I can see my post went down like a lead balloon
I had a feeling it might, but to be fair, I thought I would share the O'Reilly  response to Jon Stewart

Heretic, with half of the US getting their news from Stewart and the other half from Fox, you guys are really in deeeep shit.

I love Jon Stewart and I watch him every day, I rarely miss a show. Quite frankly, although I like the current host of Meet The Press, David Gregory, I would like to see John Stewart host Meet the Press.

As far as a lead balloon is concerned if you post something about Jon Stewart every day I will come and check it every day and probably make a comment too. And you should watch the whole show because usually he has a guest who is an author that he interviews about an interesting book.

I bet most of America were watching the show where he interviewed Jim Cramer the host of CNBC’s show Mad Money. I think that interview made the evening news. Jon Stewart says all the things I think of and cannot articulate. I wish I was as smart as he, Jon Stewart.

Since we have been talking about health care you may want to read some other good news.

It's amazing to me how John Stewart, for hosting a self admitted "fake news show" often ends up getting more out of his guests than the network news interviewers do. Remember when he had an intelligence agent on, back in 2003, just before the war? The agent pretty much told the truth... that Iraq had no WMD's, was no theat to the US, or to it's own neighbors in the region, and that it had no part in the 9/11 attacks.  Then there was the Cramer interview, and the recent cut down of Betsie and her nutcase "death panel" bullshit... and countless other expose's...

My question is: why the hell isn't the mainstream media doing this anymore? Why do so many of us have to depend on the court jesters of the media to tell us the truth?

I have to say I got a kick finding out that Betsy "Death Panels" McCaughey has resigned. The only thing is that it gives her more time to try and bamboozle people into believing her  bullshit(ala Palin).
I did watch Jons segment with her, and thought Jon interrupted her far too many times, but then on the other hand she was utterly unprepared for him in any capacity.
