I have to tell you I rather enjoy surfing collarme.com, in spite of the spyware (hey folks, they're just trying to make some money to keep the site going. It's free, so what's the big deal?) Anyway, I'm wondering if there are other free sites with profiles and/or personal ads from people into BDSM. I'm a sub guy who would like to find a dom female to live with and possibly marry.

depends on what youre looking for, if youre looking for just profiles to surf... alt.com (not entirely free) bondage.com theres another one that i went to but i didnt like it not really a profile surfing site either its more like a general journal, its escaping me... but yeah you can also look up bdsm personals in google im sure it will come up with something... also use fire fox it keeps you away from so much spam and viruses. hope that helps =)

the forums dont even have ads on them, and i find the ones around collarme are displayed tastefully to the side, accusations of spyware simply make you look foolish, i trust big daddy M11 and the fact my comp isnt messed from visiting the site. i could bitch all day about how terrible alt is.. fetlife seems ok but not really my bag. iv visited a few others and meh, im really a collarme fanboy when it comes down to it. good forums, search engine and populated by a large diverse population.

There is no prohibition on naming other sites here, no matter what you might be imagining. What is prohibited is advertising other personals sites. Soneone mentioning they are on another site has not and will not ever be against the rules here. XI

It's just that when I tried to simply print the name of the site (NOT the URL, just the name), just as when people often mention alt or other sites as per the examples in this thread, it would only show asterisks.

the asterisks come from the @ sign in the thingie, it is an attempt to keep people from posting email addies, which is kinda a voilation of TOS (I can't really find that anymore, in the TOS) but colloquially, it is not OK. so if you say dungeonmyspace it will show www.dungeonmyspace.com the thing you are linking to has an at sign in it www.dungeonmyspace.com@blogsomehting Ron
