I knew one person in New Jersey that might know where to send it for repair but I haven't gotten to talk to him in a couple years. Though these people might be able to help you Lady Samantha

Okay, then given this bit of information, why not just contact the manufacturer and ask them?  For an item of this cost, I'd like to think the manufacturer would be of greatest assistance in order to keep their customers coming/cuming back for more.  That'd be my first call, anyway... to the manufacturer to inquire about some options.  Maybe mailing it back to them for repair or a discount on replacement if the purchase was not that long ago.
