Status: offline 		I really am amused by some of the subs ariund here. They dont seem to be willing to give a bloke a chance they take one look at a profile and judge one as Fake, lame or a waste of time. I pity them for some vluable gems can be found in dark places

Status: offline 		Dude, please take the time to read some threads before you post any more.  There are lots of men who complain about the women here and they invariably get flamed, get pissed off, and stomp off in a huff.

The plain and simple fact is that women get deluged with mail.  Get used to the fact that you will very seldom get contacted back, and quit dwelling on it.

That said, the best way to get a response in my experience is to read forum posts and journal entries and specifically quote and comment on those to the woman who wrote them.

Edited to add:  Grofast, I just checked your profile.  Your entire profile basically says "I am looking for a special sub for an LTR."

If you want to convince the women that you are a valuable gem, you're going to have to do more communicating than that.

Status: offline 		If you feel that you aren't being given a chance how about looking at the way you are presenting yourself? After all your profile and emails are all the sub has to go on. Negativity is off putting, you have several negative journal entries and your posting here on the message boards is also negative. Try approaching things more positively and do a search for old threads on putting together a good profile and writing emails that get results.

Any woman... wants a man she can respect, know and communicate with... not a man she has to listen to his bitch with. It's called... impressing her to capture her attention.

Give a bloke a chance?  Why?  I viewed your profile and found nothing to take a chance on (of course I'm not a sub).  Your profile offers nothing.  Two of your three journal entries are nothing but complaints about your experiences. Nothing positive...nothing to inspire a person, imo, to want to make contact.  It doesn't make you a fake, just not all that interesting.

Misplaced pity, I must say.  I think its time to shake up the etch-a-sketch and start all over again.

etch-a-sketch. i recall seeing one of those in the science museum in London. trying to convince my son i wasnt older than dinosaurs was difficult at the time.

It occurs to me sitting here taking a break to inhale and imbibe a cup of Neet's most excellent peculated coffee and puffing gently on my pipe loaded with good Irish Tobacco blend, that there are two issues here and why shouldn't there be for there are always two sides of the coin.

On the one hand, the OP is commenting that he is amused by those subs who label him a fake, probably because of a poorly written profile and on the other hand, we have an OP who appears not to demonstrate good and effective communication skills.

The communication skills can be acquired and improved on, with or without help. After all we have seen on occasions where someone has taken the comments given on these very forums and not only rewritten their profile and even asked for the profile mark 2 to be critiqued. However there is nothing we can do about the shoot from the him instant labelling as fake. This is something we all learn to loive with and as I comment in my first post here, it act as a filter to remove from the hunt some who are not suited for the OP. I strongly urge to OP to rethink his profile including what he has to offer, What sort of regular communications he is looking for from a LDR partner and even the frequency of these contacts together with the options of face to face time. I believe there will be other points other experienced folk here may suggest too which may be also helpful. It would be indeed a great pity if our negative comments and flames (if any appear) were to cost us the company of some one who may in time become a valued member of the CM Posting community.

You might want to consider taking a new picture.. with a clean shirt on this time. You come off as sloppy and that can translate to uncaring in a lot of submissive minds. It's hard to see a diamond that's covered in mud. If you really are a gem, let that shine through. So far, it doesn't.

Indeed.  But we are generally talking about people who have asked what is wrong with their profile, even if they have done so in a relatively negative manner.  When somebody is blaming others for not seeing the diamond in the dungheap, the situation is very different.  Before you can cure, first the patient needs to accept that they are sick.  If you'll excuse my mixed metaphors, I think that's an important point.

It should also be noted that this is a returning user, as opposed to a new one.

Seeing that others have read his original profile, I strongly suspect that he has taken some advise and is currently rewriting it which means than he has in all probability simply taken it off line to do so. Perhaps you might like to review the previous posts before you make such judgemental comments. Just my thoughts of course lass seeing that in previous posts you haven't come across as overly judgemental.

Seriously, there have been quite a number of these threads lately.  As a couple of folks have pointed out, there's some work to do on your profile and a better picture would help.  Also, take a look at your approach.  The standard read the profiles, write personalized introduction emails, and participate in the forums.  There tends to be more success when folks put some effort into those areas.

Try appealing to the woman underneath the label first and not to what you think you want to do to her. Surprisingly enough these subs are actually human and want a man to treat them with respect and decency first and foremost.
