Hello A/all
I was been looking into buying some land out in the country, building a home on it, building a dungeon on it, starting a family, and being self sufficient. However, I also like to travel and the ocean. Having gardens, horses, and a family is not exactly conducive to our lifestyles and travel.

I live in Washington state and coastal property with enough acreage to have horses and a self sufficient lifestyle is veerrrryyyy expensive. I think I have found a solution - Buy 10 to 20 acres inland bordered by a national forest put a mobile home on it while the main home or homes are built and buy a recreational lot on the coast which I can do for a total of about $70,000. So I know I can do that part.

I'm working on the solution to the travel verses having animals and the BDSM verses having little ones. The solution I have come up with is to team up with others and form a co-op. We rotate livestock responsibilities so that we can travel and we watch each others families when we want to do serious play. Even have an off site location of such play.

Another of my major concerns is keeping the farm financially fit. Since my family came close to losing our minifarm when I was young. You can grow your own food and build your own home. You can evey produce your own power. However, real world is that you need stuff like medical coverage and other insurance no matter how "Off The Grid" and self sufficient you want to be.

I have met a Domme who is interested and we are starting to talk seriously about it.

I would like input on the idea. Do you know of anyone who has done something like this? In a co-op is it better to have seperate homes and common spaces or one large home? Any thoughts on good income sources? Any other input would be welcome.
