It isnt too bad on the filtration system.  When I lived in miami, I had a pool and My shepherd was in it every day.  Just make sure you clean out the skimmer basket daily

We just got an American Foxhound, he is a bundle of energy. He does not seem to like water though. The dogs in the video are having fun for sure.

Well, if it is anything like the dog swim where I live, it is the day after the pool closes, and so they drain the pool afterwards.
