If you are a christian, you might wear a cross. If hold to the theory of evolution, you might buy a fish with feet bumper sticker. Question: what does a submissive wear that announces his role in life? I am brand new to the life. Please pardon my ignorance and enlighten me if you will. thanks.

There is a great deal of controversy surrounding this lifestyle bullshit and whether it is all about sex or not, but my friend; I will guarentee you that in the main, you will have your mouth firmly attached to someones genitals for many timeslices in the space-continuum. Other than that.............you are expected to behave, eat with your mouth closed, be able to have an intelligent (not prodigal) conversation, be at the very least nondescript in public (witty and entertaining not forbidden) .......... I got me some cute little handcuff and lock earrings! [:D] Actually, I don't feel a need to broadcast my lifestyle, but I am not ashamed of it and will wear my collar which is lovely and has the BDSM symbol on it.

I wear a sterling silver triskelian pendant. Those in the "lifestyle" usually know what it represents, and will ask my orientation. Others that ask are told it is a Celtic symbol.

If you feel the desire to announce your lifestyle to those who know what the symbols mean, there is always the option of the triskele, a collar, or kanji symbols. My cigarette case has the kanji for slave on it (it was an anniversary present from Master) and i frequently wear my collar. I'm sure there are other symbols out there as well. I got the kanji from violently's web - she has several different versions for the lifestyle symbols, as well as other symbols that are popular for tattoos and such.

I dont wear any outward symbols that announce me to the world as a slave But to me, the symbols of my slavery i wear are: Master gave me a sapphire necklace as my day to day collar, sapphire is his birthstone. I wear bruises a lot grin My nipple rings represent my slavery to me as they were a big thing for me to have done.

I wear a simple chrome chain around my neck. It´s loose enough to be comfortable and to hide the smooth but sturdy lock and nametag ("property of mistress"...) under a t-shirt, but tight enough for me to be unable to take it off. It´s a 24/7 collar and Mistress keeps both keyes [:D]
